The transition to 6G networks presents unique challenges in ensuring secure, reliable, and energy-efficient communication particularly in the context of IoT applications. This paper presents a novel solution that combines Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) with Backscatter Communication (BackCom) to enhance the performance of IoT networks. Using the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm, we propose an adaptive optimization framework that dynamically adjusts RIS phase shifts and beamforming in real time. This approach addresses critical issues such as imperfect Channel State Information (CSI), quantized RIS phase shifts, and the double-fading effect in backscatter communication. Our results show significant improvements in secrecy rates, energy efficiency, and overall communication quality, offering a scalable, secure, and efficient solution for future 6G IoT networks.
