Abstract In smart city applications, electric vehicles (EVs) are rapidly gaining popularity due to their ability to help cut down on carbon emissions. Numerous environmental conditions, including terrain, traffic, driving style, temperature, and so on, affect the amount of energy an EV needs to operate. However, the burden on power grid infrastructure from widespread EV deployment is one of the biggest obstacles. Smart scheduling algorithms can be used to handle the rising public charging demand. Scheduling algorithms can be improved using data-driven tools and procedures to study EV charging behaviour. Predictions of behaviour, including temperature, departure… More >

Due to the fact that the wing is driven by multiple motors, it has the characteristic of multiple degrees of freedom in camber-morphing, which can achieve various deformation controls. Establishing corresponding finite element models, the deformation ability under different driving conditions is simulated. The results indicate that compared More >

Abstract Momentum shift is an important sign of nonadiabatic tunnelling ionization process, to investigate the mechanism of momentum shift, we use the strong-field approximation theory to track the formation of ionization momentum spectra of hydrogen atom under the action of different laser pulses in time domain. By observing the ionization momentum spectra of different structures with time, we find that the momentum shift is formed by the continuous interference and evolution of ionization signals over time. Meanwhile, we further analyze how subcycle and intercycle interference influencing the formation of momentum shift. Before the duration is long More >

Three types of pre-support, including anti-slide pile, pipe roof and surface grouting, were used to control the landslide. In addition, a three-dimensional analysis was carried… More >

In this study, a progressive damage and failure model of rock elements is established using the strain-energy-density theory based on the thermodynamic theory. Specifically, the rock elements are considered to have failed when the strain energy density absorbed by the element is greater than the critical strain energy density. Besides, the damage evolution of rock elements is reflected through the reduction of elastic modulus, until the element only has a certain residual strength.… More >
