Summary

The special issue creates a platform for theoretical fluid flow processes research analysis of heat flow in stockpiles of reactive materials, the study of infectious diseases, and numerical methods applications. Fluid flow studies include, among others, the modeling of liquid flow in various areas of engineering and industrial processes. Fluid flow also involves the studies of heat and mass transfer including entropy generation, for example, and the heat-mass transfer concept is also studied under spontaneous combustion of reactive materials, like in stockpiles of combustible materials. This collection is open to researchers in mathematical modeling using numerical methods to solve very complicated differential equations.

The purpose of this special issue is to bring academics, engineers, researchers, and scientists together to share recent ideas, methods, trends, problems, and solutions in the following focus area, but not limited to:

Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations

Numerical Analysis

Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing

Continuum and Fluid Mechanics

Ecological and Epidemiological Modelling
