Analysis of Renewable Energy Absorption and Economic Feasibility in Multi-Energy Complementary Systems under Spot Market Conditions

Xiuyun Wang, Zipeng Zhang, Chuang Liu*, Guoliang Bian

    Energy Engineering, Vol.122, No.2, pp. 577-619, 2025, DOI:10.32604/ee.2024.056748 - 31 January 2025

Abstract As the power system transitions to a new green and low-carbon paradigm, the penetration of renewable energy in China’s power system is gradually increasing. However, the variability and uncertainty of renewable energy output limit its profitability in the electricity market and hinder its market-based integration. This paper first constructs a wind-solar-thermal multi-energy complementary system, analyzes its external game relationships, and develops a bi-level market optimization model. Then, it considers the contribution levels of internal participants to establish a comprehensive internal distribution evaluation index system. Finally, simulation studies using the IEEE 30-bus system demonstrate that the More >

Source-Load Coordinated Optimal Scheduling Considering the High Energy Load of Electrofused Magnesium and Wind Power Uncertainty

    Juan Li1, Tingting Xu1,*, Yi Gu2, Chuang Liu1, Guiping Zhou2, Guoliang Bian1

    Energy Engineering, Vol.121, No.10, pp. 2777-2795, 2024, DOI:10.32604/ee.2024.052331 - 11 September 2024

Abstract In fossil energy pollution is serious and the “double carbon” goal is being promoted, as a symbol of fresh energy in the electrical system, solar and wind power have an increasing installed capacity, only conventional units obviously can not solve the new energy as the main body of the scheduling problem. To enhance the system scheduling ability, based on the participation of thermal power units, incorporate the high energy-carrying load of electro-melting magnesium into the regulation object, and consider the effects on the wind unpredictability of the power. Firstly, the operating characteristics of high energy… More >

Qinhui Liu, Laizheng Zhu, Zhijie Gao, Jilong Wang, Jiang Li*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.78, No.1, pp. 811-843, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.046040 - 30 January 2024

Abstract To improve the productivity, the resource utilization and reduce the production cost of flexible job shops, this paper designs an improved two-layer optimization algorithm for the dual-resource scheduling optimization problem of flexible job shop considering workpiece batching. Firstly, a mathematical model is established to minimize the maximum completion time. Secondly, an improved two-layer optimization algorithm is designed: the outer layer algorithm uses an improved PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) to solve the workpiece batching problem, and the inner layer algorithm uses an improved GA (Genetic Algorithm) to solve the dual-resource scheduling problem. Then, a rescheduling method… More >
