    Abstract This study includes an experimental and numerical analysis of the performances of a parabolic trough collector (PTC) with and without cylindrical turbulators. The PTC is designed with dimensions of 2.00 m in length and 1.00 m in width. The related reflector is made of lined sheets of aluminum, and the tubes are made of stainless steel used for the absorption of heat.     Abstract Simulation of fluid-flow topology and thermal behavior in a round tube heat exchanger (RTHX) installed by three V-rib sets is reported. The expected phenomena for the rib installation are the generated vortex flow, impinging flow, greater fluid blending and thermal boundary layer disturbance (TBLD). These phenomena are key causes of the augmentation of heat transfer potentiality and thermal efficiency of the RTHX.     Abstract Thermal performance enhancement in a square channel heat exchanger (HX) using a passive technique is presented. Vortex turbulator insertion in a square channel HX as a passive technique is selected for thermal improvement. The vortex turbulator of interest is discrete X-V baffles (XVB). The discrete XVBs are inserted in the square channel with the main aim of generating vortex flow.     Abstract This research tests the effect of introducing turbulators of a new type into a circular tube heat exchanger under a constant and uniform longitudinal heat flux condition.     Abstract In the present study, the use of wavy fin turbulators on the annulus body of a double pipe air heater has been numerically investigated. The inner pipe consists of hot water whereas the annular section consists of cold air whose Reynolds Number (Re) ranged from 3000-15,000.
