Combo Packet: An Encryption Traffic Classification Method Based on Contextual Information

Yuancong Chai, Yuefei Zhu*, Wei Lin, Ding Li

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.79, No.1, pp. 1223-1243, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2024.049904 - 25 April 2024

Abstract With the increasing proportion of encrypted traffic in cyberspace, the classification of encrypted traffic has become a core key technology in network supervision. In recent years, many different solutions have emerged in this field. Most methods identify and classify traffic by extracting spatiotemporal characteristics of data flows or byte-level features of packets. However, due to changes in data transmission mediums, such as fiber optics and satellites, temporal features can exhibit significant variations due to changes in communication links and transmission quality. Additionally, partial spatial features can change due to reasons like data reordering and retransmission.… More >

Genetic-Based Keyword Matching DBSCAN in IoT for Discovering Adjacent Clusters

    Byoungwook Kim1, Hong-Jun Jang2,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.135, No.2, pp. 1275-1294, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.022446 - 27 October 2022

Abstract As location information of numerous Internet of Thing (IoT) devices can be recognized through IoT sensor technology, the need for technology to efficiently analyze spatial data is increasing. One of the famous algorithms for classifying dense data into one cluster is Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN). Existing DBSCAN research focuses on efficiently finding clusters in numeric data or categorical data. In this paper, we propose the novel problem of discovering a set of adjacent clusters among the cluster results derived for each keyword in the keyword-based DBSCAN algorithm. The existing DBSCAN algorithm… More > Graphic Abstract

Short Video Recommendation Algorithm Incorporating Temporal Contextual Information and User Context

    Weihua Liu1, Haoyang Wan2,*, Boyuan Yan2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.135, No.1, pp. 239-258, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.022827 - 29 September 2022

Abstract With the popularity of 5G and the rapid development of mobile terminals, an endless stream of short video software exists. Browsing short-form mobile video in fragmented time has become the mainstream of user’s life. Hence, designing an efficient short video recommendation method has become important for major network platforms to attract users and satisfy their requirements. Nevertheless, the explosive growth of data leads to the low efficiency of the algorithm, which fails to distill users’ points of interest on one hand effectively. On the other hand, integrating user preferences and the content of items urgently… More > Graphic Abstract

Visual Relationship Detection with Contextual Information

    Yugang Li1, 2, *, Yongbin Wang1, Zhe Chen2, Yuting Zhu3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.63, No.3, pp. 1575-1589, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.07451 - 30 April 2020

Abstract Understanding an image goes beyond recognizing and locating the objects in it, the relationships between objects also very important in image understanding. Most previous methods have focused on recognizing local predictions of the relationships. But real-world image relationships often determined by the surrounding objects and other contextual information. In this work, we employ this insight to propose a novel framework to deal with the problem of visual relationship detection. The core of the framework is a relationship inference network, which is a recurrent structure designed for combining the global contextual information of the object to More >

SSD Real-Time Illegal Parking Detection Based on Contextual Information Transmission

    Huanrong Tang1, Aoming Peng1, Dongming Zhang2, Tianming Liu3, Jianquan Ouyang1, *

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.62, No.1, pp. 293-307, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.06427

Abstract With the improvement of the national economic level, the number of vehicles is still increasing year by year. According to the statistics of National Bureau of Statics, the number is approximately up to 327 million in China by the end of 2018, which makes urban traffic pressure continues to rise so that the negative impact of urban traffic order is growing. Illegal parking-the common problem in the field of transportation security is urgent to be solved and traditional methods to address it are mainly based on ground loop and manual supervision, which may miss detection… More >
