Congestion Control Using In-Network Telemetry for Lossless Datacenters

    Jin Wang1, Dongzhi Yuan1, Wangqing Luo1, Shuying Rao1, R. Simon Sherratt2, Jinbin Hu1,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.1, pp. 1195-1212, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.035932 - 06 February 2023

Abstract In the Ethernet lossless Data Center Networks (DCNs) deployed with Priority-based Flow Control (PFC), the head-of-line blocking problem is still difficult to prevent due to PFC triggering under burst traffic scenarios even with the existing congestion control solutions. To address the head-of-line blocking problem of PFC, we propose a new congestion control mechanism. The key point of Congestion Control Using In-Network Telemetry for Lossless Datacenters (ICC) is to use In-Network Telemetry (INT) technology to obtain comprehensive congestion information, which is then fed back to the sender to adjust the sending rate timely and accurately. A Compact Flexible Circularly Polarized Implantable Antenna for Biotelemetry Applications

    Sarosh Ahmad1,*, Shakir Ullah2, Adnan Ghaffar3, Daniel Segovia Vargas1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.2, pp. 2457-2472, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.025527 - 16 June 2022

Abstract With the help of in-body antennas, the wireless communication among the implantable medical devices (IMDs) and exterior monitoring equipment, the telemetry system has brought us many benefits. Thus, a very thin-profile circularly polarized (CP) in-body antenna, functioning in ISM band at 2.45 GHz, is proposed. A tapered coplanar waveguide (CPW) method is used to excite the antenna. The radiator contains a pentagonal shape with five horizontal slits inside to obtain a circular polarization behavior. A bendable Roger Duroid RT5880 material (εr = 2.2, tanδ = 0.0009) with a typical 0.25 mm-thickness is used as a substrate.… More >

Definition and Development of a Control Concept Applied in Elements Distributed for Manage Them Using IoT

Jesus Hamilton Ortiz1, Osamah Ibrahim Khalaf2, Fernando Velez Varela3,*, Nicolas Minotta Rodriguez3, Christian Andres Mosquera Gil3

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.3, No.3, pp. 87-97, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2021.014737 - 16 December 2021

Abstract In recent years, the Internet has gradually developed into a mature tool, which can integrate technologies involved in different application scenarios. The Internet allows the integration of solutions to different problems, which benefits both users and companies. The Internet of Things is a further development of the Internet, which can further realize the interconnection of people, machines, and things. The work of this paper mainly focuses on the use of Internet of Things technology to achieve efficient management. A wireless device is designed in the paper, which can be integrated in a helmet. Development of a Module for Measuring Electrical Variables in Power Transformers Based in IoT, to Manage and Monitoring by Telemetry Mechanism

Jesus Hamilton Ortiz1, Javier Ferney Castillo García2, Osamah Ibrahim Khalaf3, Fernando Velez Varela2,*, Pedro Jefferson Barragan Baron2, Jhon Hadder Guzmán Atehortúa2

    Journal on Internet of Things, Vol.3, No.2, pp. 53-63, 2021, DOI:10.32604/jiot.2021.014736 - 15 July 2021

Abstract This work shows the development of a module that performs measurements of electrical variables in a low voltage power transformer. These variables are sent by means of the IEEE802.11 standard, connecting to a database stored in the cloud; associating with the meter IoT concepts, this to allow a client to perform an analysis, monitoring and management of their electrical network. For the construction of this module, non-invasive current sensors connected to a three-phase meter are used and a communication card is used that allows data to be extracted from the meter and sent to the More >
