Improvement of Binocular Reconstruction Algorithm for Measuring 3D Pavement Texture Using a Single Laser Line Scanning Constraint

    Yuanyuan Wang1,*, Rui Wang2, Xiaofeng Ren3, Junan Lei2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.136, No.2, pp. 1951-1972, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2023.026112 - 06 February 2023

Abstract The dense and accurate measurement of 3D texture is helpful in evaluating the pavement function. To form dense mandatory constraints and improve matching accuracy, the traditional binocular reconstruction technology was improved threefold. First, a single moving laser line was introduced to carry out global scanning constraints on the target, which would well overcome the difficulty of installing and recognizing excessive laser lines. Second, four kinds of improved algorithms, namely, disparity replacement, superposition synthesis, subregion segmentation, and subregion segmentation centroid enhancement, were established based on different constraint mechanism. Last, the improved binocular reconstruction test device was More >

    Hua Li1,*, Yuchen Yue2, Jianhua Luo3

    Journal of Information Hiding and Privacy Protection, Vol.4, No.2, pp. 61-68, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jihpp.2022.027692 - 17 April 2023

Abstract In this paper, a video compressed sensing reconstruction algorithm based on multidimensional reference frames is proposed using the sparse characteristics of video signals in different sparse representation domains. First, the overall structure of the proposed video compressed sensing algorithm is introduced in this paper. The paper adopts a multi-reference frame bidirectional prediction hypothesis optimization algorithm. Then, the paper proposes a reconstruction method for CS frames at the re-decoding end. In addition to using key frames of each GOP reconstructed in the time domain as reference frames for reconstructing CS frames, half-pixel reference frames and scaled More >

The Application of Sparse Reconstruction Algorithm for Improving Background Dictionary in Visual Saliency Detection

    Lei Feng1,2, Haibin Li1,*, Yakun Gao1, Yakun Zhang1

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.26, No.4, pp. 831-839, 2020, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2020.010117

Abstract In the paper, we apply the sparse reconstruction algorithm of improved background dictionary to saliency detection. Firstly, after super-pixel segmentation, two bottom features are extracted: the color information of LAB and the texture features of the image by Gabor filter. Secondly, the convex hull theory is used to remove object region in boundary region, and K-means clustering algorithm is used to continue to simplify the background dictionary. Finally, the saliency map is obtained by calculating the reconstruction error. Compared with the mainstream algorithms, the accuracy and efficiency of this algorithm are better than those of More >

Abstract of view. It can be applied in virtual reality, smart homes and other fields as well. A multi-directional reconstruction algorithm for panoramic camera is proposed in this paper according to the imaging principle of dome camera, as the distortion inevitably exists in the captured panorama. First, parameters of a panoramic image are calculated. Then, a weighting operator with location information is introduced to solve the problem of rough edges by taking full advantage of pixels. Six directions of the mapping model are built, which include up, down, left, right, front and back, according to More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.62, No.3, pp. 1249-1258, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.05777

Abstract Underwater imaging is widely used in ocean, river and lake exploration, but it is affected by properties of water and the optics. In order to solve the lower-resolution underwater image formed by the influence of water and light, the image super-resolution reconstruction technique is applied to the underwater image processing. This paper addresses the problem of generating super-resolution underwater images by convolutional neural network framework technology. We research the degradation model of underwater images, and analyze the lower-resolution factors of underwater images in different situations, and compare different traditional super-resolution image reconstruction algorithms. We further More >
