Secure Content Based Image Retrieval Scheme Based on Deep Hashing and Searchable Encryption

Zhen Wang, Qiu-yu Zhang*, Ling-tao Meng, Yi-lin Liu

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.3, pp. 6161-6184, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.037134 - 29 April 2023

Abstract To solve the problem that the existing ciphertext domain image retrieval system is challenging to balance security, retrieval efficiency, and retrieval accuracy. This research suggests a searchable encryption and deep hashing-based secure image retrieval technique that extracts more expressive image features and constructs a secure, searchable encryption scheme. First, a deep learning framework based on residual network and transfer learning model is designed to extract more representative image deep features. Secondly, the central similarity is used to quantify and construct the deep hash sequence of features. The Paillier homomorphic encryption encrypts the deep hash sequence… More >

    S. Siamala Devi1, Chandrakala Kuruba2, Yunyoung Nam3,*, Mohamed Abouhawwash4,5

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.3, pp. 2209-2223, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.025514 - 01 August 2022

Abstract Health care visualization through Internet of Things (IoT) over wireless sensor network (WSN) becomes a current research attention due to medical sensor evolution of devices. The digital technology-based communication system is widely used in all application. Internet of medical thing (IoMT) assisted healthcare application ensures the continuous health monitoring of a patient and provides the early awareness of the one who is suffered without human participation. These smart medical devices may consume with limited resources and also the data generated by these devices are large in size. These IoMT based applications suffer from the issues… More >

    Bijeta Seth1, Surjeet Dalal1, Dac-Nhuong Le2,3,*, Vivek Jaglan4, Neeraj Dahiya1, Akshat Agrawal5, Mayank Mohan Sharma6, Deo Prakash7, K. D. Verma8

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.67, No.1, pp. 779-798, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.014466 - 12 January 2021

Abstract Cloud computing utilizes enormous clusters of serviceable and manageable resources that can be virtually and dynamically reconfigured in order to deliver optimum resource utilization by exploiting the pay-per-use model. However, concerns around security have been an impediment in the extensive adoption of the cloud computing model. In this regard, advancements in cryptography, accelerated by the wide usage of the internet worldwide, has emerged as a key area in addressing some of these security concerns. In this document, a hybrid cryptographic protocol deploying Blowfish and Paillier encryption algorithms has been presented and its strength compared with… More >

Paillier-Based Fuzzy Multi-Keyword Searchable Encryption Scheme with Order-Preserving

    Xiehua Li1,*, Fang Li1, Jie Jiang1, Xiaoyu Mei2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.65, No.2, pp. 1707-1721, 2020, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2020.011227 - 20 August 2020

Abstract Efficient multi-keyword fuzzy search over encrypted data is a desirable technology for data outsourcing in cloud storage. However, the current searchable encryption solutions still have deficiencies in search efficiency, accuracy and multiple data owner support. In this paper, we propose an encrypted data searching scheme that can support multiple keywords fuzzy search with order preserving (PMS). First, a new spelling correction algorithm-(Possibility-Levenshtein based Spelling Correction) is proposed to correct user input errors, so that fuzzy keywords input can be supported. Second, Paillier encryption is introduced to calculate encrypted relevance score of multiple keywords for order More >

A Cryptograph Domain Image Retrieval Method Based on Paillier Homomorphic Block Encryption

    Wenjia Xu1, Shijun Xiang1,*, Vasily Sachnev2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.55, No.2, pp. 285-295, 2018, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2018.01719

Abstract With the rapid development of information network, the computing resources and storage capacity of ordinary users cannot meet their needs of data processing. The emergence of cloud computing solves this problem but brings data security problems. How to manage and retrieve ciphertext data effectively becomes a challenging problem. To these problems, a new image retrieval method in ciphertext domain by block image encrypting based on Paillier homomophic cryptosystem is proposed in this paper. This can be described as follows: According to the Paillier encryption technology, the image owner encrypts the original image in blocks, obtains… More >
