    Chalcogenide Letters, Vol.21, No.3, pp. 275-284, 2024, DOI:10.15251/CL.2024.213.275

Abstract To grow SnS films, the spray pyrolysis deposition (SPD) process is applied. The films were deposited at various substrate temperatures (ST) of 400, 450, and 500 degrees Celsius for two hours. Through XRD analysis, the impact of ST on the structure was investigated. Peak (113) crystallite sizes were 13.16, 21.48, and 38.87 nm, respectively, at base temperatures of (400, 450, and 500) ℃. The effect of ST on the structure was examined using XRD analysis. A predominat Peak at (113) plane. The crystallite sizes at base temperatures of (400, 450, and 500) ℃ were 13.16, 21.48, More >

Effect of Cu ratios dopant on ZnSe thin films structural and optical properties

    M. N. Abdel-Salama, N. Sabryb, E. S. Yousefc,d, E. R. Shaabana,*

    Chalcogenide Letters, Vol.20, No.11, pp. 759-777, 2023, DOI:10.15251/CL.2023.2011.759

Abstract This study focused to prepare poly-crystalline (ZnSe)1-xCux thin films, where x values vary from 0 to 0.1 %. the effect of Cu ratios dopant on structural, phases and optical properties has been investigated. As prepared thin films were deposited onto a cleaning glass substrate under high vacuum conditions (10-7 mbr) at room temperature using the “ evaporation technique”. The analysis results according to data of the X-ray diffraction technique of all films refer to the growth polycrystalline with hexagonal wurtzite structure of Zn-Se with no presence of any further phases. The changes in numerous parameters such… More >

Green Method, Optical and Structural Characterization of ZnO Nanoparticles Synthesized Using Leaves Extract of M. oleifera

José Vulfrano González-Fernández1,*, Diego David Pinzón-Moreno1, Antony Alexander Neciosup-Puican2, María Verónica Carranza-Oropeza1

    Journal of Renewable Materials, Vol.10, No.3, pp. 833-847, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jrm.2021.017377 - 28 September 2021

Abstract ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO-NP) present innovative optical, electrical, and magnetic properties that depend on specific characteristics, e.g., size, distribution, and morphology. Thus, these properties are essential to address various applications in areas such as electronics, medicine, energy, and others. In addition, the performance of this ZnONP depends of their preparation which can be done by chemical, physical, and biological methods. Meanwhile, nowadays, the main interest in developing ZnO-NP synthesis through biological methods bases on the decrease of use of toxic chemicals or energy applied to the procedures, making the process more cost-effective and environmentally friendly. However,… More >
