Abstract The present article deals with the investigation thermal stress of a magnetothermoelastic cylinder subjected to rotation, open or closed circuit, thermal and mechanical boundary conditions. The outer and inner surfaces of the cylinder are subjected to both mechanical and thermal boundary conditions.
