    Abstract This paper introduces a novel air-water thermal power plant working at low temperatures and employing hot water as a heat-supply fluid to produce utility-scale power with high second-law efficiency. The air-water power plant uses both air and water as working fluids and employs a direct-contact mass and heat transfer packing to facilitate latent heat (in terms of vapor) and sensible heat transfer from the hot water to moist air for expansion in a gas turbine to produce power.     Abstract Cyclophilin (CYP) plays an important role in plant response to stress, and OsCYP2, one gene of cyclophlilin family, is involved in auxin signal transduction and stress signaling in rice. However, the mechanism that OsCYP2 is involved in rice response to low temperature is still unclear. We identified a new OsCYP2 allelic mutant, lrl3, with fewer lateral roots, and the differences in shoot height, primary root length and adventitious root length increased with the growth process compared to the wild-type plant.     Effect of Introducing Conductive Organic Carrier on Properties of Low-Temperature Conductive Silver Paste

    Abstract The poly(epoxy-N-methylaniline) conductive organic carrier was used as the bonding phase of the low-temperature conductive silver paste. Then, this was mixed with different proportions of silver powder to prepare the lowtemperature conductive silver paste. Afterwards, the effect of the conductive organic carrier on the properties of the low-temperature conductive silver paste was determined by IR, DMA and SEM. The results revealed that the prepared conductive paste has good conductivity, film-forming performance, printing performance, low-temperature curing performance, and anti-aging performance.     Preparation and Performance of Ternesite-Ye’Elimite Clinker Produced from Steel Slag at Lower Temperature

    Abstract Ternesite (4CaO·2SiO2·CaSO4)-Ye’elimite (3CaO·3Al2O3·CaSO4) (simplified as TY) cement clinker was successfully prepared from steel slag at 1200°C in this study. XRD, TG/DSC and SEM were used to analyze the mineral composition and hydration products of the TY clinker. The sintering process and hydration mechanism of the TY clinker were investigated. Results show that a large amount of ternesite and ye’elimite have been formed at 1200°C, while ternesite has not been decomposed.     Abstract Low-temperature nitriding of steel or iron can produce an expanded austenite phase, which is a solid solution of a large amount of nitrogen dissolved interstitially in fcc lattice.
