Abstract Thanks to the strong representation capability of pre-trained language models, supervised machine translation models have achieved outstanding performance. However, the performances of these models drop sharply when the scale of the parallel training corpus is limited. Considering the pre-trained language model has a strong ability for monolingual representation, it is the key challenge for machine translation to construct the in-depth relationship between the source and target language by injecting the lexical and syntactic information into pre-trained language models. To alleviate the dependence on the parallel corpus, we propose a Linguistics Knowledge-Driven Multi-Task (LKMT) approach to… More >

Social Networks Fake Account and Fake News Identification with Reliable Deep Learning

    N. Kanagavalli1,*, S. Baghavathi Priya2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.1, pp. 191-205, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.022720 - 05 January 2022

Abstract Recent developments of the World Wide Web (WWW) and social networking (Twitter, Instagram, etc.) paves way for data sharing which has never been observed in the human history before. A major security issue in this network is the creation of fake accounts. In addition, the automatic classification of the text article as true or fake is also a crucial process. The ineffectiveness of humans in distinguishing the true and false information exposes the fake news as a risk to credibility, democracy, logical truth, and journalism in government sectors. Besides, the automatic fake news or rumors… More >

Abstract With the remarkable growth of textual data sources in recent years, easy, fast, and accurate text processing has become a challenge with significant payoffs. Automatic text summarization is the process of compressing text documents into shorter summaries for easier review of its core contents, which must be done without losing important features and information. This paper introduces a new hybrid method for extractive text summarization with feature selection based on text structure. The major advantage of the proposed summarization method over previous systems is the modeling of text structure and relationship between entities in the More >
