An Optimized Method for Information System Transactions Based on Blockchain

Jazem Mutared Alanazi, Ahmad Ali AlZubi*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.2, pp. 2289-2308, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.029181 - 19 July 2022

Abstract Accounting Information System (AIS), which is the foundation of any enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, is often built as centralized system. The technologies that allow the Internet-of-Value, which is built on five aspects that are network, algorithms, distributed ledger, transfers, and assets, are based on blockchain. Cryptography and consensus protocols boost the blockchain platform implementation, acting as a deterrent to cyber-attacks and hacks. Blockchain platforms foster innovation among supply chain participants, resulting in ecosystem development. Traditional business processes have been severely disrupted by blockchains since apps and transactions that previously required centralized structures or trusted… More >

Mindfulness Associates Life Satisfaction: The Mediating Role of Internal Control and the Presence of Meaning in Life

    Zihui Yuan1,2,#, Yanhui Xiang1,2,*, Ziyuan Chen1,2

    International Journal of Mental Health Promotion, Vol.23, No.1, pp. 15-25, 2021, DOI:10.32604/IJMHP.2021.012787 - 19 February 2021

Abstract This study explored the internal mechanism of the effect of mindfulness on life satisfaction from the perspective of logotherapy theory and achievement attribution theory. We recruited 1021 college students using a combination of random sampling and cluster sampling. They completed the relevant questionnaire. The results showed that, from the perspective of logotherapy theory, we find that the presence of meaning in life is an important intermediary between mindfulness and life satisfaction. From the perspective of achievement attribution theory, we found that internal control was an important intermediary between mindfulness and life satisfaction. In addition, we More >

An internal control applied to RT-PCR detection of HCV and HIV-1 in human pooled plasma and plasma-derived medicinal products

    Gonzalo RODRÍGUEZ-LOMBARDI1, Luciana REYNA2, María Susana VITALI1, Susana GENTI-RAIMONDI2

    BIOCELL, Vol.39, No.2-3, pp. 15-24, 2015, DOI:10.32604/biocell.2015.39.015

Abstract A competitive internal control (IC) adapted to RT-PCR in-house assay was developed for HCV RNA detection in human pooled plasma. Also, it was applied in a multiplex RT-PCR for the HIV-1 and HCV RNA screening in human pooled plasma and plasma-derived products. A 258-bp PCR product from the 5´noncoding region of HCV genome was obtained. A competitive IC template was constructed by inserting a 52-bp double strand sequence into the NheI site of the 258-bp amplicon. This sequence was cloned and the obtained plasmid was used to generate a synthetic RNA. The IC/RNA was incorporated… More >
