Remote Sensing Image Information Granulation Transformer for Semantic Segmentation

    Haoyang Tang1,2, Kai Zeng1,2,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.84, No.1, pp. 1485-1506, 2025, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2025.064441 - 09 June 2025

Abstract Semantic segmentation provides important technical support for Land cover/land use (LCLU) research. By calculating the cosine similarity between feature vectors, transformer-based models can effectively capture the global information of high-resolution remote sensing images. However, the diversity of detailed and edge features within the same class of ground objects in high-resolution remote sensing images leads to a dispersed embedding distribution. The dispersed feature distribution enlarges feature vector angles and reduces cosine similarity, weakening the attention mechanism’s ability to identify the same class of ground objects. To address this challenge, remote sensing image information granulation transformer for… More >

Two-Layer Information Granulation: Mapping-Equivalence Neighborhood Rough Set and Its Attribute Reduction

    Changshun Liu1, Yan Liu1, Jingjing Song1,*, Taihua Xu1,2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.2, pp. 2059-2075, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.039592 - 21 June 2023

Abstract Attribute reduction, as one of the essential applications of the rough set, has attracted extensive attention from scholars. Information granulation is a key step of attribute reduction, and its efficiency has a significant impact on the overall efficiency of attribute reduction. The information granulation of the existing neighborhood rough set models is usually a single layer, and the construction of each information granule needs to search all the samples in the universe, which is inefficient. To fill such gap, a new neighborhood rough set model is proposed, which aims to improve the efficiency of attribute… More >

Forecasting Model Based on Information-Granulated GA-SVR and ARIMA for Producer Price Index

    Xiangyan Tang1,2, Liang Wang3, Jieren Cheng1,2,4,*, Jing Chen2, Victor S. Sheng5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.58, No.2, pp. 463-491, 2019, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2019.03816

Abstract The accuracy of predicting the Producer Price Index (PPI) plays an indispensable role in government economic work. However, it is difficult to forecast the PPI. In our research, we first propose an unprecedented hybrid model based on fuzzy information granulation that integrates the GA-SVR and ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model) models. The fuzzy-information-granulation-based GA-SVR-ARIMA hybrid model is intended to deal with the problem of imprecision in PPI estimation. The proposed model adopts the fuzzy information-granulation algorithm to pre-classification-process monthly training samples of the PPI, and produced three different sequences of fuzzy information granules, whose… More >
