    Abstract Ammonium nitrogen (NH4+-N) is one of the main forms of nitrogen absorbed and utilized by plants, and mastering the regulatory mechanism of plant ammonium assimilation is a key way to improve the efficiency of plant nitrogen utilization. Glutamine synthetase (GS) and glutamate synthase (GOGAT), two key enzymes for ammonium assimilation, have rarely been studied in pecan. In this study, GS and GOGAT family members of pecan were identified and analyzed using bioinformatics methods. The results indicated that 6 GS and 4 GOGAT genes were identified.     Abstract Grapes, one of the oldest tree species globally, are rich in vitamins. However, environmental conditions such as low temperature and soil salinization significantly affect grape yield and quality. The glutamate receptor (GLR) family, comprising highly conserved ligand-gated ion channels, regulates plant growth and development in response to stress.     Abstract The localization of GluR1 subunits of ionotropic glutamate receptors in the glial cells and inhibitory neurons of cerebellar cortex and their association with the climbing and parallel fibers, and basket cell axons were studied. Samples of P14 and P21 rat cerebellar cortex were exposed to a specific antibody against GluR1 subunit(s) of AMPA receptors and were examined with confocal laser scanning microscopy.
