Abstract Regarding the spatial profile extraction method of a multi-field co-simulation dataset, different extraction directions, locations, and numbers of profiles will greatly affect the representativeness and integrity of data. In this study, a multi-field co-simulation data extraction method based on adaptive infinitesimal elements is proposed. The multi-field co-simulation dataset based on related infinitesimal elements is constructed, and the candidate directions of data profile extraction undergo dimension reduction by principal component analysis to determine the direction of data extraction. Based on the fireworks algorithm, the data profile with optimal representativeness is searched adaptively in different data extraction… More > Graphic Abstract

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.1, pp. 163-188, 2022, DOI:10.32604/EE.2022.017396 - 22 November 2021

Abstract Photovoltaics (PV) has been combined with many other industries, such as agriculture. But there are many problems for the sustainability of PV agriculture. Timely and accurate sustainability evaluation of modern photovoltaic agriculture is of great significance for accelerating the sustainable development of modern photovoltaic agriculture. In order to improve the timeliness and accuracy of evaluation, this paper proposes an evaluation model based on interval type-2 Fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS and least squares support vector machine optimized by fireworks algorithm. Firstly, the criteria system of modern photovoltaic agriculture sustainability is constructed from three dimensions including technology sustainability, economic… More >

Spectrum Allocation for Cognitive Radio Networks Using the Fireworks Algorithm

    Zhou Feng, Xue Weilian*

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.33, No.4, pp. 275-286, 2018, DOI:10.32604/csse.2018.33.275

Abstract The fireworks algorithm features a small number of parameters, remarkable optimization ability, and resistance to a local optimum. Based on the graph coloring model, the fireworks algorithm is introduced for the first time to solve the spectrum allocation problem for cognitive radio networks, thus maximizing utility and fairness of spectrum allocation. Two-layer binary coding is adopted for individual fireworks. The first layer refers to the coding of cognitive users used to determine channels that can be connected with the user. The second layer refers to the auxiliary coding of channels responsible for addressing mutual interference More >
