    Caifeng Wen1,2, Qiang Wang1,*, Yang Cao1, Liru Zhang1,2, Wenxin Wang3, Boxin Zhang1, Qian Du1

    Energy Engineering, Vol.120, No.7, pp. 1603-1619, 2023, DOI:10.32604/ee.2023.027074

Abstract To solve the problems of large losses and low productivity of permanent magnet synchronous generators used in wind power systems, the field-circuit coupling method is used to accurately solve the electromagnetic field and temperature field of the generator. The loss distribution of the motor is accurately obtained by considering the influence of external circuit characteristics on its internal physical field. By mapping the losses to the corresponding part of the three-dimensional finite element model of the motor, the temperature field is solved, and the global temperature distribution of the generator, considering the influence of end windings, is obtained. By changing… More >

    Jiang Wu1, Jianjun Zhang1, Wenwu Tan1, Hao Lan1,*, Sirao Zhang1, Ke Xiao2, Li Wang2, Haijun Lin1, Guang Sun3, Peng Guo4

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.74, No.1, pp. 67-82, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.030703

Abstract Water resources are an indispensable and valuable resource for human survival and development. Water quality predicting plays an important role in the protection and development of water resources. It is difficult to predict water quality due to its random and trend changes. Therefore, a method of predicting water quality which combines Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and clustering model was proposed in this paper. By taking the water quality monitoring data of a certain river basin as a sample, the water quality Total Phosphorus (TP) index was selected as the prediction object. Firstly, the sample data was cleaned, stationary… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.74, No.1, pp. 131-139, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.028756

Abstract In order to solve the defect of large error in current employment quality evaluation, an employment quality evaluation model based on grey correlation degree method and fuzzy C-means (FCM) is proposed. Firstly, it analyzes the related research work of employment quality evaluation, establishes the employment quality evaluation index system, collects the index data, and normalizes the index data; Then, the weight value of employment quality evaluation index is determined by Grey relational analysis method, and some unimportant indexes are removed; Finally, the employment quality evaluation model is established by using fuzzy cluster analysis algorithm, and compared with other employment quality… More >

Effects of Mineral Admixtures on Chloride Diffusion in Environment-Friendly Coral Aggregate Concrete

    Daguan Huang1,*, Ditao Niu2, Li Su3,*, Hao Zheng2, Qiang Fu2, Yunhe Liu1

    Journal of Renewable Materials, Vol.10, No.12, pp. 3477-3489, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jrm.2022.021282

Abstract Coral materials can replace concrete aggregates and achieve material self-sufficiency for reducing the construction costs of island projects. This paper studies the effects of different mineral admixtures on the properties of coral aggregate concrete (CAC). The chloride concentration of CAC after different erosion times is measured using the potentiometric method, and the porosity of the CAC is calculated using thermogravimetric and drying methods. The chloride concentration of the CAC presents a two-phases distribution. The peak chloride concentration followed a power function, increasing with the erosion time. The chloride diffusion coefficient of CAC is 7.9%– 37.5% larger than that of ordinary… More >

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.11, pp. 2475-2490, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.021090

Abstract Soybean is an important legume food crop, and its seeds are rich in nutrients, providing humans and animals with edible oil and protein feed. However, soybean is sensitive to water requirements, and drought is an important factor limiting soybean yield and quality. This study used Heinong 84 (drought resistant variety) and Hefeng 46 (intermediate variety) as tested varieties planted in chernozem, albic, and black soils. The effects of drought stress on the activities of key enzymes in carbon metabolism and photosynthetic characteristics of soybean were studied during the flowering stage, most sensitive to water. A New Approach for Structural Optimization with Application to Wind Turbine Tower

Fugang Dong, Yuqiao Zheng*, Hao Li, Zhengwen He

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.3, pp. 1017-1029, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ee.2022.020430

Abstract This work takes the bionic bamboo tower (BBT) of 2 MW wind turbine as the target, and the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) is utilized to optimize its structural parameters. Specifically, the objective functions are deformation and mass. Based on the correlation analysis, the target optimization parameters were determined. Furthermore, the Kriging model of the BBT was established through the Latin Hypercube Sampling Design (LHSD). Finally, the BBT structure is optimized with multiple objectives under the constraints of strength, natural frequency, and size. The comparison shows that the optimized BBT has an advantage in the Design Load Case (DLC). This… More >

    Ruoyu Xiong1, Liming Chen1, Daren Jiang1, Yingjie Zhou1, Xueming Tan1, Xiaohua Pan1, Yongjun Zeng1, Jun Zhang2, Yanhua Zeng1,*

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.91, No.7, pp. 1495-1502, 2022, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2022.018485

Abstract In order to investigate the effects of different irrigation management on the textural properties of two different double-cropping late Indica rice, the effects of three irrigation management including conventional irrigation (CK), constant irrigation (CI) and alternate wetting and drying (AWD) on textural properties has been researched under field conditions of two years. The results indicated that the firmness, cohesiveness and chewiness were decreased under AWD treatment, and the stickiness was increased compared with CK, while the textural properties under CI treatment showed the opposite trend with AWD treatment. Additionally, AWD treatment signifi- cantly improved the springiness of TY871 compared with… More >

    Lihua Zhu1,*, Zhijian Xu1, Yu Wang1, Cheire Cheng2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.71, No.2, pp. 3179-3192, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.023293

Abstract With the rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicle technology, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been widely used in the field of agricultural plant protection. Compared with fuel-driven UAVs, electrically driven rotorcrafts have many advantages such as lower cost, simpler operation, good maneuverability and cleaner power, which them popular in the plant protection. However, electrical rotorcrafts still face battery problems in actual operation, which limits its working time and application. Aiming at this issue, this paper studied the influence of rotorcraft flight parameters on energy consumption through series of carefully designed flight experiments. First of all, the linear motion experiments have… More >

Ming Zhang, Hongbo Li, Xing Deng*

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.1, pp. 237-252, 2022, DOI:10.32604/EE.2022.017916

Abstract The inherent randomness, intermittence and volatility of wind power generation compromise the quality of the wind power system, resulting in uncertainty in the system's optimal scheduling. As a result, it's critical to improve power quality and assure real-time power grid scheduling and grid-connected wind farm operation. Inferred statistics are utilized in this research to infer general features based on the selected information, confirming that there are differences between two forecasting categories: Forecast Category 1 (0–11 h ahead) and Forecast Category 2 (12–23 h ahead). In z-tests, the null hypothesis provides the corresponding quantitative findings. To verify the final performance of… More >
