    Chalcogenide Letters, Vol.21, No.11, pp. 945-952, 2024, DOI:10.15251/CL.2024.2111.945

Abstract The synthesis and characterization of reduced graphene oxide/cadmium sulfide (rGO/CdS) are the primary topics covered in this paper. The construction of a photoanode in dyesensitized solar cells (DSSCs) using synthetic materials is subsequently proposed. Here, graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized using the Hummer's method, and green tea leaves were employed to reduce GO. The rGO/CdS nanocomposites were prepared using a hydrothermal method. A photoanode was fabricated from the as-prepared rGO/CdS nanocomposite paste using doctor blade deposition techniques.
The performance of the fabricated DSSCs was evaluated using current density-voltage (JV) curves. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray… More >

    Journal of Renewable Materials, Vol.11, No.4, pp. 1793-1805, 2023, DOI:10.32604/jrm.2023.024521 - 01 December 2022

Abstract Due to the low content of adsorption-active groups in lignin, its application in the field of adsorption is limited. Herein, we first prepared cationic kraft lignin acrylate, from which a cationic lignin (CKLA) hydrogel was further prepared by cationic kraft lignin acrylate, acrylamide, and N, N’-methylenebisacrylamide. The morphology, compression properties and swelling properties of CKLA hydrogels were investigated. The prepared CKLA hydrogel was applied as an adsorbent for Congo red. The effect of CKLA hydrogel dosages, initial concentration of Congo red, and pH on adsorption efficiency was investigated. The maximum Congo red removal efficiency was More >
