    Abstract This work demonstrates in practical terms the evolutionary concepts and computational applications of Parametric Curves. Specific cases were drawn from higher order parametric Bezier curves of degrees 2 and above. Bezier curves find real life applications in diverse areas of Engineering and Computer Science, such as computer graphics, robotics, animations, virtual reality, among others.     Fast Generation of Smooth Implicit Surface Based on Piecewise Polynomial

    Abstract To speed up generating a scalar field g(x) based on a piecewise polynomial, a new method for determining field values that are indispensable to generate g(x) has been proposed. In the proposed method, an intermediate for generating g(x) does not required, i.e., the field values can directly be determined from given point data.     Abstract The application of a particle method to incompressible viscous fluid flow problem and its physics-based computer graphics are presented. The method is based on the MPS (Moving Particle Semi-implicit) scheme using logarithmic weighting function to stabilize the spurious oscillatory solutions for the pressure fields which are governed by Poisson equation. The physics-based computer graphics consist of the POV-Ray (Persistence of Vision Raytracer) rendering using marching cubes algorithm as polygonization.     Mesh Simplification Method Using Principal Curvatures and Directions

    Abstract This paper describes an enhancement to Garland and Heckbert's mesh simplification method by using the principal curvatures and directions of each vertex. We calculate the values and directions, before using them to determine the absolute normal curvature in the direction of contraction, and multiplying the curvature with the edge length, the maximum absolute cosine of the angles between the edge and the normals of faces adjacent to either endpoint, and the quadric error of the collapse.
