Survey on Segmentation and Classification Techniques of Satellite Images by Deep Learning Algorithm

    Atheer Joudah1,*, Souheyl Mallat2, Mounir Zrigui1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.75, No.3, pp. 4973-4984, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.036483 - 29 April 2023

Abstract This survey paper aims to show methods to analyze and classify field satellite images using deep learning and machine learning algorithms. Users of deep learning-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) technology to harvest fields from satellite images or generate zones of interest were among the planned application scenarios (ROI). Using machine learning, the satellite image is placed on the input image, segmented, and then tagged. In contemporary categorization, field size ratio, Local Binary Pattern (LBP) histograms, and color data are taken into account. Field satellite image localization has several practical applications, including pest management, scene analysis, More >

IM-EDRD from Retinal Fundus Images Using Multi-Level Classification Techniques

    M. P. Karthikeyan1,*, E. A. Mary Anita2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.1, pp. 567-580, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.026243 - 06 June 2022

Abstract In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of people suffering from eye illnesses, which should be treated as soon as possible in order to avoid blindness. Retinal Fundus images are employed for this purpose, as well as for analysing eye abnormalities and diagnosing eye illnesses. Exudates can be recognised as bright lesions in fundus pictures, which can be the first indicator of diabetic retinopathy. With that in mind, the purpose of this work is to create an Integrated Model for Exudate and Diabetic Retinopathy Diagnosis (IM-EDRD) with multi-level classifications. The… More >

Abstract Heart disease prognosis (HDP) is a difficult undertaking that requires knowledge and expertise to predict early on. Heart failure is on the rise as a result of today’s lifestyle. The healthcare business generates a vast volume of patient records, which are challenging to manage manually. When it comes to data mining and machine learning, having a huge volume of data is crucial for getting meaningful information. Several methods for predicting HD have been used by researchers over the last few decades, but the fundamental concern remains the uncertainty factor in the output data, as well… More >

Investigating of Classification Algorithms for Heart Disease Risk Prediction

    Nisha Mary1, Bilal Khan1,*, Abdullah A Asiri2, Fazal Muhammad3, Samar Alqhtani4, Khlood M Mehdar5, Hanan Talal Halwani4, Turki Aleyani4, Khalaf A Alshamrani2

    Journal of Intelligent Medicine and Healthcare, Vol.1, No.1, pp. 11-31, 2022, DOI:10.32604/jimh.2022.030161 - 14 June 2022

Abstract Prognosis of HD is a complex task that requires experience and expertise to predict in the early stage. Nowadays, heart failure is rising due to the inherent lifestyle. The healthcare industry generates dense records of patients, which cannot be managed manually. Such an amount of data is very significant in the field of data mining and machine learning when gathering valuable knowledge. During the last few decades, researchers have used different approaches for the prediction of HD, but still, the major problem is the uncertainty factor in the output data and also there is a… More >
