    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.80, No.2, pp. 2199-2219, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2024.052155 - 15 August 2024

Abstract The current resource allocation in 5G vehicular networks for mobile cloud communication faces several challenges, such as low user utilization, unbalanced resource allocation, and extended adaptive allocation time. We propose an adaptive allocation algorithm for mobile cloud communication resources in 5G vehicular networks to address these issues. This study analyzes the components of the 5G vehicular network architecture to determine the performance of different components. It is ascertained that the communication modes in 5G vehicular networks for mobile cloud communication include in-band and out-of-band modes. Furthermore, this study analyzes the single-hop and multi-hop modes in… More >

Performance Analysis of an Artificial Intelligence Nanosystem with Biological Internet of Nano Things

    Saied M. Abd El-atty1,*, Nancy A. Arafa1, Atef Abouelazm1, Osama Alfarraj2, Konstantinos A. Lizos3, Farid Shawki1

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.133, No.1, pp. 111-131, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.020793 - 18 July 2022

Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has recently been used in nanomedical applications, in which implanted intelligent nanosystems inside the human body were used to diagnose and treat a variety of ailments with the help of the Internet of biological Nano Things (IoBNT). Biological circuit engineering or nanomaterial-based architectures can be used to approach the nanosystem. In nanomedical applications, the blood vascular medium serves as a communication channel, demonstrating a molecular communication system based on flow and diffusion. This paper presents a performance study of the channel capacity for flow-based-diffusive molecular communication nanosystems that takes into account the More >
