    Abstract Coffee wilt represents one of the most devastating diseases of Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L.) plantations in the primary coffee-producing regions. In this study, coffee trees manifesting wilt symptoms accompanied by the defoliation and drying of the whole tree were observed in the Jazan, El Baha, Najran, and Asir regions. The purpose of this investigation was to isolate and identify the Fusarium species recovered from symptomatic coffee trees.     Abstract Styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modified asphalt (SA) has long found effective applications in road construction materials. When combined with fillers, SBS-modified asphalt has demonstrated promising resistance to fatigue cracking caused by temperature fluctuations and aging. In this study, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and polyphosphoric acid (PPA) were ground in naphthenic oil (NO) and subjected to mechanical activation to create PPA-modified MoS2, referred to as OMS-PPA.     Impact of aluminum fluoride addition on crystallization, structure and thermal properties of lead borate glasses

    Abstract The glass composition (70-x)PbO–(30-y)B2O3–(x+y)AlF3, where x and y ranges from 0 to 20 mol%, were prepared using the conventional melt-quenching-annealing technique. The structural and thermal properties of the glasses were comprehensively analyzed using techniques like Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA), Dilatometry, Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).     Abstract The chemical composition of the following glass system 75Li2B4O7-10CdO-(15-x)BaO- xTm2O3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 2) mol.% has been fabricated using a traditional melt quenching procedure. The density of the synthesis samples has been measured and it enhanced with the rising Tm2O3 content. All the fabricated specimens form glass and the amorphous state have been confirmed the XRD.     Abstract

    The 10boron neutron-capture therapy (BNCT) is an emerging antitumoral method that shows increasing biomedical interest. BNCT is based on the selective accumulation of the 10boron isotope within the tumor, which is then irradiated with low-energy thermal neutrons, generating nuclear fission that produces 7lithium, 4helium, and γ rays. Simple catechol-borate esters have been rather overlooked as precursors of melanin biosynthesis, and therefore, a proof-of-concept approach for using dopamine-borate (DABO) as a suitable boron-containing candidate for potential BNCT is presented here.
