    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.140, No.3, pp. 2165-2206, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2024.028132 - 08 July 2024

Abstract The race to develop the next generation of wireless networks, known as Sixth Generation (6G) wireless, which will be operational in 2030, has already begun. To realize its full potential over the next decade, 6G will undoubtedly necessitate additional improvements that integrate existing solutions with cutting-edge ones. However, the studies about 6G are mainly limited and scattered, whereas no bibliometric study covers the 6G field. Thus, this study aims to review, examine, and summarize existing studies and research activities in 6G. This study has examined the Scopus database through a bibliometric analysis of more than More > Graphic Abstract

Knowledge Mapping of Hybrid Solar PV and Wind Energy Standalone Systems: A Bibliometric Analysis

    Quan Zhou*, Haiyang Li

    Energy Engineering, Vol.121, No.7, pp. 1781-1803, 2024, DOI:10.32604/ee.2024.049387 - 11 June 2024

Abstract Renewable energy is becoming more attractive as traditional fossil fuels are rapidly depleted and expensive, and their use would release pollutants. Power systems that use both wind and solar energy are more reliable and efficient than those that utilize only one energy. Hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) are viable for remote areas operating in standalone mode. This paper aims to present the state-of-the-art research on off-grid solar-wind hybrid energy systems over the last two decades. More than 1500 published articles extracted from the Web of Science are analyzed by bibliometric methods and processed by CiteSpace… More >

A Bibliometric Analysis Unveils Valuable Insights into the Past, Present, and Future Dynamics of Plant Acclimation to Temperature

Yong Cui, Yongju Zhao, Shengnan Ouyang, Changchang Shao, Liangliang Li, Honglang Duan*

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.93, No.2, pp. 291-312, 2024, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2024.047281 - 27 February 2024

Abstract Plant temperature acclimation is closely related to maintaining a positive carbon gain under future climate change. However, no systematic summary of the field has been conducted. Based on this, we analyzed data on plant temperature acclimation from the Web of Science Core Collection database using bibliometric software R, RStudio and VOSviewer. Our study demonstrated that a stabilized upward trajectory was noted in publications (298 papers) from 1986 to 2011, followed by a swift growth (373 papers) from 2012 to 2022. The most impactful journals were Plant Cell and Environment, boasting the greatest count of worldwide citations… More >

Abstract This study presents the current state of research on multi-factor authentication. Authentication is one of the important traits in the security domain as it ensures that legitimate users have access to the secure resource. Attacks on authentication occur even before digital access is given, but it becomes quite challenging with remote access to secure resources. With increasing threats to single authentication schemes, 2Factor and later multi-factor authentication approaches came into practice. Several studies have been done in the multi-factor authentication discipline, and most of them proposed the best possible approaches, but there are very limited… More >
