    Abstract Agile Transformations are challenging processes for organizations that look to extend the benefits of Agile philosophy and methods beyond software engineering. Despite the impact of these transformations on organizations, they have not been extensively studied in academia. We conducted a study grounded in workshops and interviews with 99 participants from 30 organizations, including organizations undergoing transformations (“final organizations”) and companies supporting these processes (“consultants”).     Solving Advection-Diffusion Equation by Proper Generalized Decomposition with Coordinate Transformation

    Abstract Inheriting a convergence difficulty explained by the Kolmogorov N-width [1], the advection-diffusion equation is not effectively solved by the Proper Generalized Decomposition [2] (PGD) method. In this paper, we propose a new strategy: Proper Generalized Decomposition with Coordinate Transformation (CT-PGD). Converting the mixed hyperbolic-parabolic equation to a parabolic one, it resumes the efficiency of convergence for advection-dominant problems. Combining PGD with CT-PGD, we solve advection-diffusion equation by much fewer degrees of freedom, hence improve the efficiency.     Abstract DNA methylation is an important epigenetic regulatory mechanism, it regulates gene expression by recruiting proteins involved in gene repression or by inhibiting the binding of transcription factor(s) to DNA. In this study, a novel methyltransferase 2a gene (Zmet2a) was cloned in maize and identified by polymerase chain reaction-base (PCR-base) using a bioinformatics strategy. The Zmet2a cDNA sequence is 2739 bp long and translates to 912 amino acid peptides.
