    Qiong Luo*

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.46, No.3, pp. 3141-3158, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.038017 - 03 April 2023

Abstract The products of an archival culture in colleges and universities are the final result of the development of archival cultural resources, and the development of archival cultural effects in colleges and universities should be an important part of improving the artistic level of libraries. The existing RippleNet model doesn’t consider the influence of key nodes on recommendation results, and the recommendation accuracy is not high. Therefore, based on the RippleNet model, this paper introduces the influence of complex network nodes into the model and puts forward the Cn RippleNet model. The performance of the model More >

High Linear Voltage Gain in QZNC Through Synchronizing Switching Circuits

    S. Harika1,*, R. Seyezhai1, A. Jawahar2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.36, No.1, pp. 895-910, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.031829 - 29 September 2022

Abstract The solar powered systems require high step-up converter for efficient energy transfer. For this, quasi-impedance network converter has been introduced. The quasi-impedance network converter (QZNC) is of two types: type-1 and type-2 configuration. Both the type-1 and type-2 QZNC configurations have drooping voltage gain profile due to presence of high switching noise. To overcome this, a new quasi-impedance network converter synchronizing the switching circuit with low frequency noise has been proposed. In this paper, the proposed QZNC configuration utilizes the current controlling diode to prevent the output voltage drop. Thus, the suggested topology provides linear More >

DC-Link Capacitor Optimization in AC–DC Converter by Load Current Prediction

    V. V. Nijil*, P. Selvan

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.36, No.1, pp. 1043-1062, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.028028 - 29 September 2022

Abstract Alternating Current–Direct Current (AC–DC) converters require a high value bulk capacitor or a filter capacitor between the DC–DC conversion stages, which in turn causes many problems in the design of a AC–DC converter. The component package size for this capacitor is large due to its high voltage rating and capacitance value. In addition, the high charging current creates more problems during the product compliance testing phase. The shelf life of these specific high value capacitors is less than that of Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC), which limits its use for the highly reliable applications. Fuzzy Based Interleaved Step-up Converter for Electric Vehicle

    T. Saravanakumar, R. Saravana kumar*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.1, pp. 1103-1118, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.025511 - 06 June 2022

Abstract This work focuses on the fuzzy controller for the proposed three-phase interleaved Step-up converter (ISC). The fuzzy controller for the proposed ISC converters for electric vehicles has been discussed in detail. The proposed ISC direct current (DC-DC) converter could also be used in automobiles, satellites, industries, and propulsion. To enhance voltage gain, the proposed ISC Converter combines boost converter and interleaved converter (IC). This design also reduces the number of switches. As a result, ISC converter switching losses are reduced. The proposed ISC Converter topology can produce a 143 V output voltage and 1 kW… More >

Enhancing Blockchain Security Using Ripple Consensus Algorithm

    A. Baseera1, Abeer Abdullah Alsadhan2,*

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.3, pp. 4713-4726, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.029538 - 28 July 2022

Abstract In the development of technology in various fields like big data analysis, data mining, big data, cloud computing, and blockchain technology, security become more constrained. Blockchain is used in providing security by encrypting the sharing of information. Blockchain is applied in the peer-to-peer (P2P) network and it has a decentralized ledger. Providing security against unauthorized breaches in the distributed network is required. To detect unauthorized breaches, there are numerous techniques were developed and those techniques are inefficient and have poor data integrity. Hence, a novel technique needs to be implemented to tackle the new breaches More >

    K. Prathibanandhi1,*, R. Ramesh2, C. Yaashuwanth3

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.34, No.1, pp. 543-557, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.025860 - 15 April 2022

Abstract The delivery of combined benefits of Alternating Current (AC) motor and Direct Current (DC) Motor makes the Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors as a unique feature in numerous industrial applications. The possibilities of running the motor at very high speed with extensive operating life span of BLDC with miniature and its compact design make it an un-ignorable option for Electrical Engineers. With many advantages, till managing as well as controlling the speed of BLDC is complicated. This work is intended to come up with an effective control of speed of the motor through Torque Ripple… More >

    Chuanwang Ma1,*, Yu Zhang1,2, Binxing Fang1,2, Hongli Zhang1, Yidong Jin3, Dasheng Zhou3

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.130, No.1, pp. 463-481, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.016838 - 29 November 2021

Abstract Ripple acts as a real-time settlement and payment system to connect banks and payment providers. As the consensus support of the Ripple network to ensure network consistency, Ripple consensus protocol has been widely concerned in recent years. Compared with those Byzantine fault tolerant protocols, Ripple has a significant difference that the system can reach an agreement under decentralized trust model. However, Ripple has many problems both in theory and practice, which are mentioned in the previous researches. This paper presents Ripple+, an improved scheme of Ripple consensus protocol, which improves Ripple from three aspects: (1)… More >

PSO Based Torque Ripple Minimization Of Switched Reluctance Motor Using FPGA Controller

    A. Manjula1,*, L. Kalaivani2, M. Gengaraj2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.29, No.2, pp. 451-465, 2021, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2021.016088 - 16 June 2021

Abstract The fast-growing field of mechanical robotization necessitates a well-designed and controlled version of electric drives. The concept of control concerning mechanical characteristics also requires a methodology in which the system needs to be modeled precisely and deals with uncertainty. The proposed method provides the enhanced performance of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) by controlling its speed and minimized torque ripple. Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controllers have drawn more attention in industry automation due to their ease and robustness. The performances are further improved by using fractional order (Non-integer) controllers. The Modified Particle Swarm Optimization (MPSO) based optimization approach… More >
