    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.2, pp. 3771-3793, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.027094 - 16 June 2022

Abstract Qinghai Lake Basin area in Gangcha county is selected as the study area in terms of desertification change features in this paper. Based on the remote sensing (RS) and global positioning system (GPS) technologies, the desertification information range from 1989 to 2014 in the study area is extracted. Using the method of the decision tree, the desertification in the research area is been divided into four grades including mild desertification, moderate desertification, severe desertification and serious desertification. The change characteristics of desertification in the study area were analyzed in detail, which showed that the desertification More >

Characteristics of Climate Change in the Lake Basin Area of Gangcha County

    Wenzheng Yu1, Aodi Fu1, Li Shao2, Haitao Liu2, Xin Yao1,*, Tianliang Chen2, Hanxiaoya Zhang3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 363-379, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.027009 - 18 May 2022

Abstract This paper mainly was based on the average temperature, precipitation, humidity, and wind direction of Gangcha county from 1960 to 2013. By using wavelet analysis and Mann-Kendall (M-K) mutation analysis, specifically analyzed the climate change characteristics in the lake basin area of Gangcha county. The result showed that the climatic change in the lake basin area of Gangcha county is noticeable. The average temperature, average minimum temperature, average maximum temperature, and evaporation showed an increasing trend. But the evaporation in the study area was higher than precipitation. The average relative humidity showed a decreasing trend.… More >

Classification of Desertification on the North Bank of Qinghai Lake

    Wenzheng Yu1, Xin Yao1, Li Shao2, Jing Liu1, Yanbo Shen3,4,*, Hanxiaoya Zhang5

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.1, pp. 695-711, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.023191 - 24 February 2022

Abstract In this paper, RS, GIS and GPS technologies are used to interpret the remote sensing images of the north shore of Qinghai Lake from 1987 to 2014 according to the inversion results of vegetation coverage (FVC), albedo, land surface temperature (LST), soil moisture (WET) and other major parameters after image preprocessing, such as radiometric correction, geometric correction and atmospheric correction. On this basis, the decision tree classification method based on landsat8 remote sensing image is used to classify the desertification land in this area, and the development and change of desertification in this period are More >

Evolution of Desertification Types on the North Shore of Qinghai Lake

    Wenzheng Yu1, Jintao Cui2, Yang Gao1, Mingxuan Zhu1, Li Shao3, Yanbo Shen4,5,*, Xiaozhao Zhang6, Chen Guo7, Hanxiaoya Zhang8

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.71, No.2, pp. 3635-3646, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.023195 - 07 December 2021

Abstract Land desertification is a widely concerned ecological environment problem. Studying the evolution trend of desertification types is of great significance to prevent and control land desertification. In this study, we applied the decision tree classification method, to study the land area and temporal and spatial change law of different types of desertification in the North Bank of Qinghai Lake area from 1987 to 2014, based on the current land use situation and TM remote sensing image data of Haiyan County, Qinghai Province, The results show that the area of mild desertification land and moderate desertification… More >

Abstract Pedicularis longiflora var. tubiformis (Orobanchaceae) is an abundant parasitic herb mainly found in the Xiaopohu wetland of the Qinghai Lake Basin in Northwestern China. The species has an important local medicinal value, and in this study, we evaluated the chemical profile of its stems, leaves and seeds using mass spectrometry. Dried samples of stems, leaves and seeds were grinded, weighted, and used for a series of extractions with an ultrasonic device at room temperature. The chemical profiles for each tissue were determined using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and Liquid ChromatographyMass Spectrometry (LC-MS). Twenty-seven amino acids and organic… More >
