Short-Term Household Load Forecasting Based on Attention Mechanism and CNN-ICPSO-LSTM

    Lin Ma1, Liyong Wang1, Shuang Zeng1, Yutong Zhao1, Chang Liu1, Heng Zhang1, Qiong Wu2,*, Hongbo Ren2

    Energy Engineering, Vol.121, No.6, pp. 1473-1493, 2024, DOI:10.32604/ee.2024.047332 - 21 May 2024

Abstract Accurate load forecasting forms a crucial foundation for implementing household demand response plans and optimizing load scheduling. When dealing with short-term load data characterized by substantial fluctuations, a single prediction model is hard to capture temporal features effectively, resulting in diminished prediction accuracy. In this study, a hybrid deep learning framework that integrates attention mechanism, convolution neural network (CNN), improved chaotic particle swarm optimization (ICPSO), and long short-term memory (LSTM), is proposed for short-term household load forecasting. Firstly, the CNN model is employed to extract features from the original data, enhancing the quality of data… More >

A 3D Measurement Method Based on Coded Image

    Jinxing Niu1,*, Yayun Fu1, Qingsheng Hu1, Shaojie Yang1, Tao Zhang1, Sunil Kumar Jha2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.69, No.2, pp. 1839-1849, 2021, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2021.017797 - 21 July 2021

Abstract The binocular stereo vision system is often used to reconstruct 3D point clouds of an object. However, it is challenging to find effective matching points in two object images with similar color or less texture. This will lead to mismatching by using the stereo matching algorithm to calculate the disparity map. In this context, the object can’t be reconstructed precisely. As a countermeasure, this study proposes to combine the Gray code fringe projection with the binocular camera as well as to generate denser point clouds by projecting an active light source to increase the texture… More >

Physiological responses of Allium cepa var. agrogarum L. plants to Cadmium stress

Wang QL, DH Liu, JY Yue

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.85, pp. 270-282, 2016, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2016.85.270

Abstract This study aimed to determine the effects of different Cd concentrations (0, 1, 10, 100, and 300 μM CdCl2) on Allium plantlets. To achieve this goal, we examined the (1) dynamics of Cd2+ flux in the rhizosphere, (2) partitioning of Cd between roots and leaves, (3) formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), (4) levels of H2O2 and chlorophyll, and (5) translocation of several macro- and micronutrients. A strong net Cd2+ influx was observed in the root apex after exposure to 100 μM Cd for 24 h. Exposure to either 1 or 10 μM Cd for 96 h More >

Effects of nitrogen fertilization on heavy metal content of corn grains

    Rui Yu-kui, Zhang Fu-suo, Shen Jian-bo

    Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany, Vol.78, pp. 101-104, 2009, DOI:10.32604/phyton.2009.78.101

Abstract Nitrogen fertilization has played a significant role in increasing crop yield, and solving problems of hunger and malnutrition worldwide. However, excessive nitrogen inputs do not significantly increase crop yields but may lead to many serious environmental problems. The effects of nitrogen fertilization rate were studied on heavy metal content of corn grains. Our results show that nitrogen fertilization management is beneficial for reducing production costs, protecting the environment, and improving the quality of farm products. More >
