    Jian Yu1,2,*, Gaofeng Yu3, Xiangmei Xiao1,2, Zhixing Lin1,2

    Journal of Cyber Security, Vol.6, pp. 41-68, 2024, DOI:10.32604/jcs.2024.049658 - 04 June 2024

Abstract With the rapid advancement of the Internet, network attack methods are constantly evolving and adapting. To better identify the network attack behavior, a universal gravitation clustering algorithm was proposed by analyzing the dissimilarities and similarities of the clustering algorithms. First, the algorithm designated the cluster set as vacant, with the introduction of a new object. Subsequently, a new cluster based on the given object was constructed. The dissimilarities between it and each existing cluster were calculated using a defined difference measure. The minimum dissimilarity was selected. Through comparing the proposed algorithm with the traditional Back More >

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.140, No.1, pp. 325-337, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2024.048804 - 16 April 2024

Abstract The gravitational wave spacecraft is a complex multi-input multi-output dynamic system. The gravitational wave detection mission requires the spacecraft to achieve single spacecraft with two laser links and high-precision control. Establishing one spacecraft with two laser links, compared to one spacecraft with a single laser link, requires an upgraded decoupling algorithm for the link establishment. The decoupling algorithm we designed reassigns the degrees of freedom and forces in the control loop to ensure sufficient degrees of freedom for optical axis control. In addressing the distinct dynamic characteristics of different degrees of freedom, a transfer function More >

Optimal Energy Consumption Optimization in a Smart House by Considering Electric Vehicles and Demand Response via a Hybrid Gravitational Search and Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

    Rongxin Zhang1,*, Chengying Yang2,3, Xuetao Li1

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.6, pp. 2489-2511, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ee.2022.021517 - 14 September 2022

Abstract Buildings are the main energy consumers across the world, especially in urban communities. Building smartization, or the smartification of housing, therefore, is a major step towards energy grid smartization too. By controlling the energy consumption of lighting, heating, and cooling systems, energy consumption can be optimized. All or some part of the energy consumed in future smart buildings must be supplied by renewable energy sources (RES), which mitigates environmental impacts and reduces peak demand for electrical energy. In this paper, a new optimization algorithm is applied to solve the optimal energy consumption problem by considering… More >

    Shuangxin He1, Chaoyang Wang1, Xuan Zhou1,*, Leiting Dong1,*, Satya N. Atluri2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.131, No.3, pp. 1857-1882, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.019160 - 19 April 2022

Abstract The Symmetric Galerkin Boundary Element Method is advantageous for the linear elastic fracture and crackgrowth analysis of solid structures, because only boundary and crack-surface elements are needed. However, for engineering structures subjected to body forces such as rotational inertia and gravitational loads, additional domain integral terms in the Galerkin boundary integral equation will necessitate meshing of the interior of the domain. In this study, weakly-singular SGBEM for fracture analysis of three-dimensional structures considering rotational inertia and gravitational forces are developed. By using divergence theorem or alternatively the radial integration method, the domain integral terms caused More >

Abstract Directional Steering System (DSS) has been established for well drilling in the oilfield in order to accomplish high reservoir productivity and to improve accessibility of oil reservoirs in complex locations. In this paper, a novel feedback linearization controller to cancel the nonlinear dynamics of a DSS is proposed. The proposed controller design problem is formulated as an optimization problem for optimal settings of the controller feedback gains. Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) is developed to search for optimal settings of the proposed controller. The objective function considered is to minimize the tracking error and drilling efforts. CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.45, No.3, pp. 203-220, 2015, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2015.045.203

Abstract The problem of the generalized thermoelastic medium for three different theories under the effect of a gravitational field is investigated. The Lord- Shulman, Green-Naghdi III, three-phase-lag theories are discussed with twotemperature. The normal mode analysis is used to obtain the analytical expressions of the displacement components, force stress, thermodynamic temperature and conductive temperature. The numerical results are given and presented graphically, when the thermal force is applied. Comparisons are made with the results predicted by three-phase-lag model, Green-Naghdi III and Lord-Shulman theories in the presence and absence of gravity as well as two temperature. More >
