INS-GNSS Integrated Navigation Algorithm Based on TransGAN

    Linxuan Wang1,*, Xiangwei Kong1, Hongzhe Xu2, Hong Li1

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.37, No.1, pp. 91-110, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.035876 - 29 April 2023

Abstract With the rapid development of autopilot technology, a variety of engineering applications require higher and higher requirements for navigation and positioning accuracy, as well as the error range should reach centimeter level. Single navigation systems such as the inertial navigation system (INS) and the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) cannot meet the navigation requirements in many cases of high mobility and complex environments. For the purpose of improving the accuracy of INS-GNSS integrated navigation system, an INSGNSS integrated navigation algorithm based on TransGAN is proposed. First of all, the GNSS data in the actual test… More >

Spatio Temporal Tourism Tracking System Based on Adaptive Convolutional Neural Network

    L. Maria Michael Visuwasam1,*, D. Paul Raj2

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.45, No.3, pp. 2435-2446, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.024742 - 21 December 2022

Abstract Technological developments create a lot of impacts in the tourism industry. Emerging big data technologies and programs generate opportunities to enhance the strategy and results for transport security. However, there is a difference between technological advances and their integration into the methods of tourism study. The rising popularity of Freycinet National Park led to a master plan that would not address cultural and environmental issues. This study addresses the gap by using a synthesized application (app) for demographic surveys and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology to implement research processes. This article focuses on managing More >

Improved Adaptive Iterated Extended Kalman Filter for GNSS/INS/UWB-Integrated Fixed-Point Positioning

    Qingdong Wu1, Chenxi Li2, Tao Shen2, Yuan Xu2,3,*

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.134, No.3, pp. 1761-1772, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.020545 - 20 September 2022

Abstract To provide stable and accurate position information of control points in a complex coastal environment, an adaptive iterated extended Kalman filter (AIEKF) for fixed-point positioning integrating global navigation satellite system, inertial navigation system, and ultra wide band (UWB) is proposed. In this method, the switched global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and UWB measurement are used as the measurement of the proposed filter. For the data fusion filter, the expectation-maximization (EM) based IEKF is used as the forward filter, then, the Rauch-Tung-Striebel smoother for IEKF filter’s result smoothing. Tests illustrate that the proposed AIEKF is able More >

Modeling and Prediction of Inter-System Bias for GPS/BDS-2/BDS-3 Combined Precision Point Positioning

    Zejie Wang1, Qianxin Wang1,*, Sanxi Li2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.132, No.3, pp. 823-843, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2022.020106 - 27 June 2022

Abstract The combination of Precision Point Positioning (PPP) with Multi-Global Navigation Satellite System (MultiGNSS), called MGPPP, can improve the positioning precision and shorten the convergence time more effectively than the combination of PPP with only the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS). However, the Inter-System Bias (ISB) measurement of Multi-GNSS, including the time system offset, the coordinate system difference, and the inter-system hardware delay bias, must be considered for Multi-GNSS data fusion processing. The detected ISB can be well modeled and predicted by using a quadratic model (QM), an autoregressive integrated moving average model (ARIMA), as well… More >

    Qi Wang1,2,3,*, Changsong Yang2,3,5, Yuxiang Wang1,2,3, Shao-en Wu4

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.26, No.6, pp. 1433-1442, 2020, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2020.012759 - 24 December 2020

Abstract To improve the positioning accuracy of farming vehicle in precision agriculture, an integrated positioning system is proposed based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)/Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS)/Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) with low cost and high reliability. The principles of commonly used localization technologies in vehicle positioning are compared and the Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) based measurement method is chosen as the integrated positioning system for information fusion considering the complexity of the algorithm, positioning accuracy and hardware requirements in the application scenario. The research of wireless signal propagation loss model of farmland environment More >

A Method for Rapidly Determining the Optimal Distribution Locations of GNSS Stations for Orbit and ERP Measurement Based on Map Grid Zooming and Genetic Algorithm

    Qianxin Wang1,2,3, Chao Hu1,2,*, Ya Mao1,2

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.117, No.3, pp. 509-525, 2018, DOI:10.31614/cmes.2018.04098

Abstract Designing the optimal distribution of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) ground stations is crucial for determining the satellite orbit, satellite clock and Earth Rotation Parameters (ERP) at a desired precision using a limited number of stations. In this work, a new criterion for the optimal GNSS station distribution for orbit and ERP determination is proposed, named the minimum Orbit and ERP Dilution of Precision Factor (OEDOP) criterion. To quickly identify the specific station locations for the optimal station distribution on a map, a method for the rapid determination of the selected station locations is developed,… More >

Improved GNSS Cooperation Positioning Algorithm for Indoor Localization

    Taoyun Zhou1,2, Baowang Lian1, Siqing Yang2,*, Yi Zhang1, Yangyang Liu1,3

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.56, No.2, pp. 225-245, 2018, DOI:10.3970/cmc.2018.02671

Abstract For situations such as indoor and underground parking lots in which satellite signals are obstructed, GNSS cooperative positioning can be used to achieve high-precision positioning with the assistance of cooperative nodes. Here we study the cooperative positioning of two static nodes, node 1 is placed on the roof of the building and the satellite observation is ideal, node 2 is placed on the indoor windowsill where the occlusion situation is more serious, we mainly study how to locate node 2 with the assistance of node 1. Firstly, the two cooperative nodes are located with pseudo-range… More >
