A Novel S-Box Generation Methodology Based on the Optimized GAN Model

    Runlian Zhang1,*, Rui Shu1, Yongzhuang Wei1, Hailong Zhang2, Xiaonian Wu1

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.76, No.2, pp. 1911-1927, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.041187 - 30 August 2023

Abstract S-boxes can be the core component of block ciphers, and how to efficiently generate S-boxes with strong cryptographic properties appears to be an important task in the design of block ciphers. In this work, an optimized model based on the generative adversarial network (GAN) is proposed to generate 8-bit S-boxes. The central idea of this optimized model is to use loss function constraints for GAN. More specially, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) S-box is used to construct the sample dataset via the affine equivalence property. Then, three models are respectively built and cross-trained to generate… More >

Proposed Framework for Detection of Breast Tumors

    Mostafa Elbaz1,2,*, Haitham Elwahsh1, Ibrahim Mahmoud El-Henawy2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.74, No.2, pp. 2927-2944, 2023, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2023.033111 - 31 October 2022

Abstract Computer vision is one of the significant trends in computer science. It plays as a vital role in many applications, especially in the medical field. Early detection and segmentation of different tumors is a big challenge in the medical world. The proposed framework uses ultrasound images from Kaggle, applying five diverse models to denoise the images, using the best possible noise-free image as input to the U-Net model for segmentation of the tumor, and then using the Convolution Neural Network (CNN) model to classify whether the tumor is benign, malignant, or normal. The main challenge… More >

CVAE-GAN Emotional AI Music System for Car Driving Safety

    Chih-Fang Huang1,*, Cheng-Yuan Huang2

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.32, No.3, pp. 1939-1953, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.017559 - 09 December 2021

Abstract Musical emotion is important for the listener’s cognition. A smooth emotional expression generated through listening to music makes driving a car safer. Music has become more diverse and prolific with rapid technological developments. However, the cost of music production remains very high. At present, because the cost of music creation and the playing copyright are still very expensive, the music that needs to be listened to while driving can be executed by the way of automated composition of AI to achieve the purpose of driving safety and convenience. To address this problem, automated AI music… More >
