    Abdelwahed Motwakel1,*, Hala J. Alshahrani2, Jaber S. Alzahrani3, Ayman Yafoz4, Heba Mohsen5, Ishfaq Yaseen1, Amgad Atta Abdelmageed1, Mohamed I. Eldesouki6

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.47, No.3, pp. 2741-2757, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.034721 - 09 November 2023

Abstract Currently, individuals use online social media, namely Facebook or Twitter, for sharing their thoughts and emotions. Detection of emotions on social networking sites’ finds useful in several applications in social welfare, commerce, public health, and so on. Emotion is expressed in several means, like facial and speech expressions, gestures, and written text. Emotion recognition in a text document is a content-based classification problem that includes notions from deep learning (DL) and natural language processing (NLP) domains. This article proposes a Deer Hunting Optimization with Deep Belief Network Enabled Emotion Classification (DHODBN-EC) on English Twitter Data… More >

Abstract Sign language includes the motion of the arms and hands to communicate with people with hearing disabilities. Several models have been available in the literature for sign language detection and classification for enhanced outcomes. But the latest advancements in computer vision enable us to perform signs/gesture recognition using deep neural networks. This paper introduces an Arabic Sign Language Gesture Classification using Deer Hunting Optimization with Machine Learning (ASLGC-DHOML) model. The presented ASLGC-DHOML technique mainly concentrates on recognising and classifying sign language gestures. The presented ASLGC-DHOML model primarily pre-processes the input gesture images and generates feature More >

Deer Hunting Optimization with Deep Learning Model for Lung Cancer Classification

    Mahmoud Ragab1,2,3,*, Hesham A. Abdushkour4, Alaa F. Nahhas5, Wajdi H. Aljedaibi6

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.1, pp. 533-546, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.028856 - 18 May 2022

Abstract Lung cancer is the main cause of cancer related death owing to its destructive nature and postponed detection at advanced stages. Early recognition of lung cancer is essential to increase the survival rate of persons and it remains a crucial problem in the healthcare sector. Computer aided diagnosis (CAD) models can be designed to effectually identify and classify the existence of lung cancer using medical images. The recently developed deep learning (DL) models find a way for accurate lung nodule classification process. Therefore, this article presents a deer hunting optimization with deep convolutional neural network… More >

Abstract The grid environment is a dynamic, heterogeneous, and changeable computing system that distributes various services amongst different clients. To attain the benefits of collaborative resource sharing in Grid computing, a novel and proficient grid resource management system (RMS) is essential. Therefore, detection of an appropriate resource for the presented task is a difficult task. Several scientists have presented algorithms for mapping tasks to the resource. Few of them focus on fault tolerance, user fulfillment, and load balancing. With this motivation, this study designs an intelligent grid scheduling scheme using deer hunting optimization algorithm (DHOA), called More >
