Abstract Mobile-edge computing (MEC) is a promising technology for the fifth-generation (5G) and sixth-generation (6G) architectures, which provides resourceful computing capabilities for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as virtual reality, mobile devices, and smart cities.
