Abstract The southeast region of the “Estado de México” is a transitional floristic zone. The municipalities which constitute are: “Tenancingo”, “Villa Guerrero”, “Malinalco”, “Zumpahuacán”, “Ixtapán de la Sal”, “Tonatico”, “Coatepec Harinas”, “Almoloya de Alquisiras” and “Texcaltitlan”. They present wood of Pinus, wood of Abies, wood of Quercus, mountainous mesophyll wood and deciduous rainforest as the main kind of vegetation.
