An Improved Biometric Fuzzy Signature with Timestamp of Blockchain Technology for Electrical Equipment Maintenance

    Rao Fu1,*, Liming Wang2, Xuesong Huo2, Pei Pei2, Haitao Jiang3, Zhongxing Fu4

    Energy Engineering, Vol.119, No.6, pp. 2621-2636, 2022, DOI:10.32604/ee.2022.020873

Abstract The power infrastructure of the power system is massive in size and dispersed throughout the system. Therefore, how to protect the information security in the operation and maintenance of power equipment is a difficult problem. This paper proposes an improved time-stamped blockchain technology biometric fuzzy feature for electrical equipment maintenance. Compared with previous blockchain transactions, the time-stamped fuzzy biometric signature proposed in this paper overcomes the difficulty that the key is easy to be stolen by hackers and can protect the security of information during operation and maintenance. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by experiments. More >

    G. Uganya*, Radhika Baskar

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.45, No.1, pp. 641-658, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.028341

Abstract Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology that moves the world in the direction of smart things. But, IoT security is the complex problem due to its centralized architecture, and limited capacity. So, blockchain technology has great attention due to its features of decentralized architecture, transparency, immutable records and cryptography hash functions when combining with IoT. Cryptography hash algorithms are very important in blockchain technology for secure transmission. It converts the variable size inputs to a fixed size hash output which is unchangeable. Existing cryptography hash algorithms with digital signature have issues of single node accessibility and accessed up… More >

Proof-of-Improved-Participation: A New Consensus Protocol for Blockchain Technology

    N. Anita*, M. Vijayalakshmi, S. Mercy Shalinie

    Computer Systems Science and Engineering, Vol.44, No.3, pp. 2007-2018, 2023, DOI:10.32604/csse.2023.025516

Abstract The Internet of Things (IoT) is converting today’s physical world into a complex and sophisticated network of connected devices on an enormous scale. The existing malicious node detection mechanism in traditional approaches lacks in transparency, availability, or traceability of the detection phase. To overcome these concerns, we provide a decentralized technique using blockchain technology. Despite the fact that blockchain technology is applicable to create that type of models, existing harmony set of instructions are susceptible to do violence to such as DoS and Sybil, making blockchain systems unfeasible. Here, a new Proof-of-Improved-Participation (PoIP) harmony instruction was suggested that benefits the… More >

Secured Cyber Security Algorithm for Healthcare System Using Blockchain Technology

    D. Doreen Hephzibah Miriam1, Deepak Dahiya2, Nitin3, C. R. Rene Robin4,*

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.2, pp. 1889-1906, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.028850

Abstract Blockchain technology is critical in cyber security. The most recent cryptographic strategies may be hacked as efforts are made to build massive electronic circuits. Because of the ethical and legal implications of a patient’s medical data, cyber security is a critical and challenging problem in healthcare. The image secrecy is highly vulnerable to various types of attacks. As a result, designing a cyber security model for healthcare applications necessitates extra caution in terms of data protection. To resolve this issue, this paper proposes a Lionized Golden Eagle based Homomorphic Elapid Security (LGE-HES) algorithm for the cybersecurity of blockchain in healthcare… More >

An Enhanced Security System Using Blockchain Technology for Strong FMC Relationship

    K. Meenakshi*, K. Sashi Rekha

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.35, No.1, pp. 111-128, 2023, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2023.025032

Abstract Blockchain technology is a shared database of logs of all consumer transactions which are registered on all machines on a network. Both transactions in the system are carried out by consensus processes and to preserve confidentiality all the files contained cannot be changed. Blockchain technology is the fundamental software behind digital currencies like Bitcoin, which is common in the marketplace. Cloud computing is a method of using a network of external machines to store, monitor, and process information, rather than using the local computer or a local personal computer. The software is currently facing multiple problems including lack of data… More >

Effective Classification of Synovial Sarcoma Cancer Using Structure Features and Support Vectors

    P. Arunachalam1, N. Janakiraman1, Junaid Rashid2, Jungeun Kim2,*, Sovan Samanta3, Usman Naseem4, Arun Kumar Sivaraman5, A. Balasundaram6

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.2, pp. 2521-2543, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.025339

Abstract In this research work, we proposed a medical image analysis framework with two separate releases whether or not Synovial Sarcoma (SS) is the cell structure for cancer. Within this framework the histopathology images are decomposed into a third-level sub-band using a two-dimensional Discrete Wavelet Transform. Subsequently, the structure features (SFs) such as Principal Components Analysis (PCA), Independent Components Analysis (ICA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) were extracted from this sub-band image representation with the distribution of wavelet coefficients. These SFs are used as inputs of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier. Also, classification of PCA + SVM, ICA + SVM,… More >

    S. Vimal1, S. Nalini2,*, K. Anguraj3, T. Chelladurai4

    Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, Vol.33, No.3, pp. 1907-1921, 2022, DOI:10.32604/iasc.2022.025219

Abstract Recent advancements in hardware and networking technologies have resulted in a large growth in the number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices connected to the Internet, which is likely to continue growing in the coming years. Traditional security solutions are insufficiently suited to the IoT context due to the restrictions and diversity of the resources available to objects. Security techniques such as intrusion detection and authentication are considered to be effective. Additionally, the decentralised and distributed nature of Blockchain technology makes it an excellent solution for overcoming the security issue. This paper proposes a chaotic bird swarm algorithm (CBSA)-based clustering… More >
