    Nasser Sweilam1, Seham Al-Mekhlafi2,*, Aya Ahmed3, Ahoud Alsheri4, Emad Abo-Eldahab3

    CMES-Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Vol.140, No.2, pp. 1619-1645, 2024, DOI:10.32604/cmes.2024.047896 - 20 May 2024

Abstract In this paper, two crossover hybrid variable-order derivatives of the cancer model are developed. Grünwald-Letnikov approximation is used to approximate the hybrid fractional and variable-order fractional operators. The existence, uniqueness, and stability of the proposed model are discussed. Adams Bashfourth’s fifth-step method with a hybrid variable-order fractional operator is developed to study the proposed models. Comparative studies with generalized fifth-order Runge-Kutta method are given. Numerical examples and comparative studies to verify the applicability of the used methods and to demonstrate the simplicity of these approximations are presented. We have showcased the efficiency of the proposed More >

Abstract The current investigations are presented to solve the fractional order HBV differential infection system (FO-HBV-DIS) with the response of antibody immune using the optimization based stochastic schemes of the Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation (LMB) neural networks (NNs), i.e., LMBNNs. The FO-HBV-DIS with the response of antibody immune is categorized into five dynamics, healthy hepatocytes (H), capsids (D), infected hepatocytes (I), free virus (V) and antibodies (W). The investigations for three different FO variants have been tested numerically to solve the nonlinear FO-HBV-DIS. The data magnitudes are implemented 75% for training, 10% for certification and 15% for testing More >

Abstract This study aims to structure and evaluate a new COVID-19 model which predicts vaccination effect in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) under Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo (ABC) fractional derivatives. On the statistical aspect, we analyze the collected statistical data of fully vaccinated people from June 01, 2021, to February 15, 2022. Then we apply the Eviews program to find the best model for predicting the vaccination against this pandemic, based on daily series data from February 16, 2022, to April 15, 2022. The results of data analysis show that the appropriate model is autoregressive integrated moving average… More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.73, No.2, pp. 4441-4454, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.029432 - 16 June 2022

Abstract In this paper, a fractional order model based on the management of waste plastic in the ocean (FO-MWPO) is numerically investigated. The mathematical form of the FO-MWPO model is categorized into three components, waste plastic, Marine debris, and recycling. The stochastic numerical solvers using the Levenberg-Marquardt backpropagation neural networks (LMQBP-NNs) have been applied to present the numerical solutions of the FO-MWPO system. The competency of the method is tested by taking three variants of the FO-MWPO model based on the fractional order derivatives. The data ratio is provided for training, testing and authorization is 77%, More >

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.3, pp. 5823-5843, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.027629 - 21 April 2022

Abstract A novel design of the computational intelligent framework is presented to solve a class of host-vector-predator nonlinear model governed with set of ordinary differential equations. The host-vector-predator nonlinear model depends upon five groups or classes, host plant susceptible and infected populations, vectors population of susceptible and infected individuals and the predator population. An unsupervised artificial neural network is designed using the computational framework of local and global search competencies of interior-point algorithm and genetic algorithms. For solving the host-vector-predator nonlinear model, a merit function is constructed using the differential model and its associated boundary conditions.… More >

    Hira Soomro1,*, Nooraini Zainuddin1, Hanita Daud1, Joshua Sunday2

    CMC-Computers, Materials & Continua, Vol.72, No.2, pp. 2947-2961, 2022, DOI:10.32604/cmc.2022.025933 - 29 March 2022

Abstract Multistep integration methods are being extensively used in the simulations of high dimensional systems due to their lower computational cost. The block methods were developed with the intent of obtaining numerical results on numerous points at a time and improving computational efficiency. Hybrid block methods for instance are specifically used in numerical integration of initial value problems. In this paper, an optimized hybrid block Adams block method is designed for the solutions of linear and nonlinear first-order initial value problems in ordinary differential equations (ODEs). In deriving the method, the Lagrange interpolation polynomial was employed… More >
