Summary
This Special Issue aims to gather innovative research and reviews focusing on the multifaceted responses of fruit crops to various abiotic stresses, including drought, salinity, temperature extremes, and nutrient deficiencies. We seek contributions that explore the following areas:
1. Mechanisms of Stress Responses: Investigating the physiological and molecular mechanisms by which fruit crops sense and respond to abiotic stressors;
2. Mitigation Strategies: Developing and assessing agronomic practices, biotechnological approaches, and the use of stress-tolerant cultivars to enhance the resilience of fruit crops;
3. Impact on Quality: Analyzing how abiotic stress affects the quality, yield, and post-harvest characteristics of fruit crops, including flavor, texture, and nutritional value;
4. Biochemical Composition: Evaluating the changes in biochemical components, such as antioxidants, vitamins, and secondary metabolites, due to stress exposure and mitigation efforts.
This Special Issue aims to provide comprehensive insights that can inform future research and practices aimed at optimizing fruit production under challenging environmental conditions.
