Summary

In the field of cancer treatment, advances in targeted and drug therapies have brought new hope to patients. With the development of precision medicine, multi-omics technologies - including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics - have begun to play their unique and critical roles in cancer research. Through in-depth analysis of cancer biomarkers, these technologies not only help us better understand the complex mechanisms of cancer, but also guide the development of targeted therapies and drug treatments to make treatments more personalized and effective. The aim of this special issue is to explore the latest advances in targeted therapies and drug therapies in modern cancer treatment and to highlight how multi-omics technologies can play a unique role in this process.

We invite researchers to submit studies that address the following areas:

Recent results of targeted therapies and drug therapies in cancer treatment;

Application of multi-omics data analysis in the discovery of new cancer therapeutic targets;

Personalized drug therapy strategies based on multi-omics analysis;

How multi-omics technologies can assist in understanding drug mechanisms and actions in targeted therapy and drug development;

Multi-omics markers in the prediction of targeted therapy and drug treatment effects;

Small-scale and precise case studies demonstrating the practical application of multi-omics technologies in specific cancer therapies;

The role of multi-omics technologies in optimizing treatment regimens and reducing adverse effects.
