Tech Science Press (TSP) appoints Professor Maosen Cao as the new Editor-in-Chief of Structural Durability & Health Monitoring (SDHM).

TSP is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Maosen Cao as the Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of Structural Durability & Health Monitoring (SDHM, ISSN: 1930-2983). His term starts on . Prof. Maosen Cao succeeds Prof. Satya N. Atluri, whose leadership firmly established SDHM’s reputation for publishing important and high-quality studies related to structural integrity, damage tolerance, and durability assessment. Dr. Cao is a full professor in the Department of Engineering Mechanics at Hohai University, PRC. He has served the structural health monitoring research community for 15 years. His particular areas of interest related to structural integrity assessment, damage characterization, health monitoring, disaster prevention and mitigation, and vibration and dynamics. He is the author/co-author of 150 papers in various areas such as structural damage identification, health monitoring, and vibration analysis, including over 50 papers in top-tier international journals. Under Prof. Cao’s leadership, SDHM will expand its traditional focus on structural fatigue and corrosion evaluation, damage modeling & simulation, damage diagnostics & prognostics, with emphasis on large-scale structures.
