30th ICCES2024 Concludes Successfully in Singapore

Singapore, – The 30th International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES2024) concluded successfully at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Held from August 3-6, 2024, this milestone event marked the first time ICCES was hosted in Singapore.

Chaired by Professor Kun Zhou of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the conference featured co-chairs Professor Shaofan Li (University of California, Berkeley), Professor Mobin Liu (Peking University), and Professor Poh Leong Hien (National University of Singapore). Over 1,300 experts from 28 countries attended, with nearly 1,000 oral presentations and close to 100 posters, setting new records for participation and scale.

Awards were presented at the August 5 banquet, including:

• ICCES Eric Reissner Award to Professor Xiqiao Feng

• Kobayashi Award to Professor Paulo J. D. S. Bartolo

• ICCES Distinguished Fellow Medal to Professors Weiqiu Chen, Guozheng Kang, and Qingyuan Wang

The ICCES Outstanding Young Researcher Award, Best Student Paper Award, and Best Poster Award were also presented.

Looking ahead, Professor Xiqiao Feng announced the 31st ICCES will be hosted in Changsha, China, from May 26-29, 2025.

ICCES2024 fostered significant academic exchanges and collaborations, continuing its tradition of excellence.
