Summary

We propose a special issue titled "Innovative Smart Polymeric Materials for Sustainable Energy Solutions: Bridging Advances in Energy and Biomedical Applications" to accompany the International Conference on Discoveries in Applied Sciences & Advanced Technology 2025) DASAT2025, a premier global conference organized by The Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. This conference, with its forward-thinking theme "Science Solutions for a Sustainable Future," attracts leading researchers, industry innovators, and policymakers, creating an unparalleled platform for the exchange of breakthrough ideas and transformative research. This special issue will serve as a prestigious collection of the most impactful research presented at DASAT2025, with one of its sharp focuses on smart polymeric materials and sustainable energy that are pushing the boundaries in energy storage, conversion systems, and bioengineering. The selected papers will illustrate how these advanced materials are not only addressing current scientific challenges but are also paving the way for future innovations that could revolutionize both the energy and biomedical sectors.
