Summary
Computer vision is used ubiquitously and can be found in goods that are used by consumers every day, such as game consoles that can identify your motions and cell phone cameras that automatically focus on people. Examine the use of computer vision, the Internet of Things (IoT), and its supporting technologies in various application domains. Focuses on providing a detailed description of the utilization of IoT with computer vision and its underlying technologies in critical application areas, such as smart grids, emergency departments, intelligent traffic cams, insurance, and medical imaging. It does this by using a series of current and future applications, including business insights, indoor-outdoor security, smart grids, human detection and tracking, intelligent traffic monitoring, e-health departments, and medical imaging. Computer vision is expected to speed up innovation as we enter the Internet of Things era. In the initial stage, we concentrate on tying devices together, collecting data, and developing big data platforms. The second phase will concentrate on automating formerly brain-dependent processes, producing more usable data, and imbuing "things" with increased intelligence through computer vision and deep learning technologies.
The purpose of this special issue is to receive the arduous and exciting applications of computer vision and IoT for the current requirements.
