Sound & Vibration 2023 Editorial Excellence Award

 

Dear Colleagues,

 

On behalf of the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Jun Yang and Executive Editor, Prof. Yan Gao, we wish to acknowledge our editorial board members who makes the best contribution to Sound & Vibration.

 

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Sound & Vibration 2023 Editorial Excellence Award is Dr. Roman Vinokur. The outstanding contributor for the Sound & Vibration journal in 2022 was selected based on the following criteria:

 

– The quantity and quality of papers contributed;

– The quantity and quality of established Special Issue, including the paper contained;

– Different ways of journal promotion in 2022.  

 

Dr. Roman Vinokur

 

Interests: acoustics, vibration, structural dynamics, aerodynamics, and reliability

 

Dr. Roman Vinokur achieved his Ph.D. in Applied Physics in Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). He is now the Principal Engineer at ResMed, US. Dr. Roman achieved multiple improvements and implementations in R&D and manufacturing projects for automotive, aerospace, HVAC, architectural, medical, and MEMS applications. Moreover, his extensive knowledge of mechanics, structural dynamics, vibration and acoustics makes great contributions to the journal.

 

The winner will be offered a paper charge waiver for one article accepted by the respective journal that is submitted within 12 months of receiving the award. Also, an award certificate will be granted to the winner.

 

Sound & Vibration Editorial would like to congratulate the winners on their accomplishments. We also wish to thank all the Editorial Board Members for their contributions to Sound & Vibration, and the Award Committee for voting and for their assistance with this award.
