SDHM Selected for the Jiangsu Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan

On 07 June 2024, the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology announced the selected projects for the 2024 Jiangsu Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan. The journal titled Structural Durability & Health Monitoring (SDHM, ISSN: 1930-2983) has been included in the first batch of high-starting-point new journals under this plan.

 

About SDHM

The Editorial Board of SDHM is composed of experts from top universities and academic institutions in 26 countries, including eight distinguished academicians worldwide. The Editor-in-Chief is Professor Maosen Cao from Hohai University, China. SDHM primarily focuses on the latest scientific and technological advances in the durability and health monitoring of engineering structures, integrating mechanics and structural disciplines with emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and big data. The journal has developed a distinctive emphasis on publishing new theories and technologies related to the durability and health monitoring of significant engineering structures along the 'Belt and Road' initiative, including bridges, tunnels, and ancient buildings. Currently, the journal is indexed in internationally renowned databases such as Ei Compendex and Scopus.

     

About Jiangsu Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan

The Jiangsu Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan, led by the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, aims to accelerate the high-quality development of scientific journals in Jiangsu Province. The plan focuses on establishing English-language scientific journals in emerging interdisciplinary fields, strategic frontiers, and general foundational technology areas to seize the high ground in cutting-edge science and technology, and to cultivate world-class scientific journals. It serves high-level basic research, applied research, and industrial development. In 2024, six journals were selected from numerous candidates across various fields within Jiangsu Province as high-starting-point new journals through a rigorous process of application, mail review, and panel review to be included as high-starting-point new journals.
