ResearchGate and Tech Science Press announce new Journal Home partnership

‍Berlin (Germany) and Henderson (USA),  – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Tech Science Press, a publisher of fully open access journals in science and engineering fields including health, computer science, and data science, today announced a new Journal Home partnership that will extend the authorship and readership of participating Tech Science Press journals through ResearchGate.

Five Tech Science Press journals have been initially selected for the partnership. All version-of-record content from Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences, Computers, Materials & Continua, BIOCELL, Energy Engineering, and Phyton will be available on ResearchGate, including both archive content and new articles.

Each journal will benefit from enhanced visibility on the ResearchGate platform. Dedicated journal profiles will be activated, providing key information such as the journal’s aims and scope, metrics, Editorial personnel, and content from the journals. These profiles provide a unique way for ResearchGate members to explore how their own personal network is connected to a journal and discover more about the journals' wider communities. Journal brands and information will now also be prominently featured on all associated articles and relevant touch points, making it easier for ResearchGate’s 25 million researcher members to find and access these journals.

Additionally, all authors in these journals will now benefit from their articles being automatically added to their user profiles on ResearchGate, providing them with usage statistics and other insights about their research and presenting a unique way to understand and connect with their readers.

“Tech Science Press’ mission is to facilitate knowledge and empower researchers globally. ResearchGate offers our editors, authors, and readers a new, innovative way to engage with their community,” said Dr. Yi Yang, Publishing Director at Tech Science Press. “We’re pleased to be partnering with ResearchGate to learn more about our communities and to grow the reach of our journals through Journal Home.

“We’re delighted to see Tech Science Press provide its community with a unique way to deepen author-to-reader engagement through Journal Home,” said Sören Hofmayer, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at ResearchGate. “Tech Science Press will be able to grow visibility, leveraging Journal Home’s powerful network insights to support their authors and increase readership of their content. I’m excited to see the results from this partnership.”
