Summary
An "Artificial Intelligence and Smart Systems in Geo-technology and Geo-hazard" special issue is a publication focused on the application of AI and smart systems in the fields of Geo-technical engineering, civil engineering, engineering geology, mining science, geology, remote-sensing and Geo-hazards. This type of special issue would explore the
latest research and advancements in the application of AI and smart systems for solving problems and improving processes in Geo-technology and Geo-hazards which addressing Geo-technology advancements, Geo-hazard risks, and mitigating their impact. It may include articles that cover topics such as neural networks, machine learning, intelligent monitoring, computational intelligence, advanced sensors, Internet of Things (IoT) systems, Geo-technical structural monitoring, machine vision, AI-powered Geo-hazard assessment and prediction. Such a special issue might also address the ethical, legal, and societal implications of using AI in Geo-technical engineering and Geo-hazards, as well as the challenges and limitations of this technology in various related fields. Additionally, articles in this special issue may provide case studies and real world examples of AI and smart systems being used to solve problems and make improvements in Geo-technical engineering and Geo-hazards.
