Summary

This special issue will examine the application of data-driven decision making and intelligent automation in the context of corporate sustainability, from the management perspective. As sustainability becomes a strategic priority for firms, business leaders are progressively adopting data analytics and automation to enhance environmental efficiency, stimulate green innovation and optimize resource utilization. This special issue will focus on management strategies and practices that leverage these technologies for sustainability.

We invite both theoretical and empirical papers, as well as comprehensive literature reviews, including interdisciplinary studies that address, but are not limited to, the following key themes and research questions:

- Strategic leadership and sustainable innovation: how business leaders drive sustainable practices using data analytics and intelligent automation.

- Data-driven decision making for corporate sustainability: the role of big data in shaping sustainability strategies and operational efficiencies.

- Automation in sustainable business practices: how intelligent automation can enhance sustainability initiatives within business operations.

- Sustainable supply chain management through technology: technology's role in optimizing green supply chains and reducing environmental impact.

- AI in strategic sustainability planning: how artificial intelligence can support long-term sustainability planning at the firm level.

We encourage contributions that examine how business leaders and managers can strategically implement intelligent automation, data analytics, and soft computing methods to integrate sustainability goals into their organizational frameworks and long-term business objectives
