Summary

Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the framework of sustainable green cities can help the residents enjoy a better and eco-friendlier life. Green cities try to improve the quality of life for residents by make things like managing resources, transportation, energy, healthcare, and public services easier with minimal environmental impact. AI can totally change how cities run, analyse information, and respond to what people need. One big way AI can offer is by managing resources, like optimising energy, using more renewable energy, and dealing with waste better, which all reduces both our usages and the environmental damage inflicted. Also, AI-enabled transportation systems alleviate congestion and pollution through predictive analytics, optimizing traffic flow and promoting alternative modes to ensure enhanced mobility and minimal carbon footprint.

Moreover, AI-driven urban planning and infrastructure development contribute to building more sustainable and resilient cities. AI analysis of population growth, land use, and environmental data assists in designing adaptable urban environments, optimizing energy-efficient building layouts, identifying green spaces, and incorporating resilience measures against climate change impacts. In healthcare, AI-driven predictive analytics and telemedicine revolutionize healthcare delivery, identify disease trends and provide personalized remote consultations, thereby improve public health outcomes. Besides, AI-enhanced public services automate tasks, provide personalized assistance, and analyse data for real-time response to public safety threats, promoting efficiency, accessibility, and resilience.

Overall, integrating AI into the fabric of sustainable future cities holds immense potential for addressing urban challenges and improving quality of life across various domains, including transportation, energy consumption, waste management, smart health, and public services. By leveraging AI technologies to optimize resource use, enhance service delivery, and promote environmental sustainability, future cities can become more resilient, liveable, and equitable.
