Aims & Scope

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer is an open access and peer-reviewed online journal that provides a central vehicle for the exchange of basic ideas in heat and mass transfer between researchers and engineers around the globe. It disseminates information of permanent interest in the area of heat and mass transfer. Theory and fundamental research in heat and mass transfer, numerical simulations and algorithms, experimental techniques, and measurements as applied to all kinds of current and emerging problems are welcome. Contributions to the journal consist of original research on heat and mass transfer in equipment, thermal systems, thermodynamic processes, nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, energy and power applications, as well as security and related topics.

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. All articles published will be Gold open access under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0). Archiving

All journals published by TSP are archived in Portico, which provides permanent digital archiving for scholarly journals.

Frontiers in Heat and Mass Transfer follows the standards of ICMJE. TSP takes the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure adding the highest quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. TSP takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously on every level. Our staff are trained to identify and report any irregularities. Our editors proceed with a zero tolerance policy, to enforce COPE’s Core Practices and Guidelines and swiftly handle complex cases of plagiarism, data falsification, authorship credit, and the like.
