Assistant Prof. Dr. Abbas J. Sultan received his B.S. and the first M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. And, he received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Missouri S&T in May 2018. He has received several awards and recognitions for his research, including the Travel Award for the 24th and 25th International Symposium on Chemical Reaction Engineering (ISCRE 24, 2016, and ISCRE 25, 2018), won the 3rd place prize in the poster competition for ISCRE 24, the Best Poster Award for Graduate Research Showcase Spring, Missouri S&T (2017), the Top Three Posters in Young Researcher Competition, Algae Biomass Summit (2017) and the Distinguished Dissertation Award from S&T’s chemical and biochemical engineering department et.al. His research interests include condition monitoring, vibration analysis, signal processing, artificial intelligence, and embedded system design.
Assistant Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdulhady Jaber. University of Technology, Iraq.
Assistant Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdulhady Jaber received his Ph.D. from the School of Mechanical and Systems Engineering, Newcastle University, United Kingdom, in 2016. He got his MSc and BSc degrees in Applied Mechanics from the Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2008 and 2006, respectively. He has published more than 30 journal and conference papers. His main research interests include condition monitoring, vibration analysis, artificial intelligence, robotic and control.
Summary
The International Engineering, Technologies, and Applied Sciences Conference and Exhibition (IETAS 2024), hosted by the University of Technology-Iraq and the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, will take place on November 26–27, 2024, at the University of Technology in Baghdad.
